Stasys Eidrigevicius, A Shelter

Stasys Eidrigevicius is a (relatively) famous Lithuanian artist (working in Poland). See his poster work here and here. He has also done a few books for children. These images are from a mid-80s work The Homecoming which never appeared in English.

Beginning with the post on the Brecht / Grosz "God-Is-Dead-We-Killed-Him" kids book, I've been inching toward a series on children's books which you might think twice about giving your own child. I expect this will end in an exorcizing but embarrassing post on the only book I still own from my childhood.
