Illustrations by L.W.R. Wenckebach for In De Muizenwereld by Agatha Snellen (Netherlands, 1894)
I found these scans by flickr user Jan Willemsen as part of his larger set of work by Ludwig Willem Reymert Wenckebach (1860–1937).

Bookseller Aleph-Bet lists the book as "Music in the Mouse's World" and describes it: "A little girl's fantasy as she shrinks to the size of mice and inhabits their world. Illus. in beautifully detailed line by L.W.R. Wenckebach and including music for songs [by Catharina van Rennes]."
There are no copies available, but Amazon even lists a 1910 English translation ("In Mouse-Land").
I hope to eventually feature the rest of Wenckebach's children's books, including his rather stunning Nutcracker and one with a promising title, Kijkjes in de plantenwereld (Glimpses into the World of Plants).

(I like that the mouse seems to be interacting with the typography)
