Top 3 shawarma places I have ever encountered anywhere around the world.  This place is the real deal.  The Syrian chefs behind this place have put together something truly special in Waterloo.

Definitely the best sushi place in the area now (if you are looking for nigiri and sashimi). Sad that Watami had to close down, though this location is much more accessible for students.

Had the Ken Sushi dinner which was pretty good. It was actually quite a lot of food (probably need to have an actual appetite to eat it). It is on the pricier side here, although there are lunch specials you can take advantage of.

Clean and spacious, good decor + environment. Would recommend and planning to come back!

Came here again a couple days ago with a friend - they have expanded their menu to include some rice dishes as well, probably to compete with Mr Sushi right next door, and now Ken Sushi on Phillip St.

Still pretty standard food and service, also love that they are playing fancy background music now, makes for a more soothing dining experience.

10% off if you pay cash but they still take credit/debit.

This is a review for the bbq, haven't actually tried the noodles here yet.

There has been a big surge of Northwest Chinese restaurants in KW the past few years, I've tried the bbq at other places and so far I like this one the best. Other places tend to go really heavy on the spicy dressing, but here we were able to get them to use lighter dressing - which ended up tasting really good. It's also nice that you can order as much as you want to eat and the pricing is pretty reasonable.

They also have an abundant amount of seating, so it's good for larger groups.
