Becoming a member of Resource Community is the next step for Resource clients who have successfully found employment or started a business.
As an alumni of Resource, being part of our community will not only be valuable to you in your career, but it will enable you to return something to Resource that will help current jobseekers get back into work as soon as possible.
As you know, networking is a vital activity to keep up at all stages of your career, and as part of the Resource community of hundreds of former clients you will be invited to regular events to meet others in your industry, practice your networking skills, develop new skills and keep up with Resource colleagues that you met during your journey at Resource.
All members of the Resource Community are asked to do 3 things:
1. Be on the lookout for, and inform us of job opportunities. There may be vacancies in the company that you work for, or you may learn of vacancies in another organisation that you’re aware of. Please pass them on to us.
2. Use your knowledge and experience to help us to point clients towards specific industry knowledge. Let us know of useful websites, LinkedIn groups, trade magazines, training and/or qualifications that are important in your industry.
3. You may be asked to give advice to a Resource client or to make introductions for them, to help them progress in a particular field and perhaps help them to develop solutions to career issues.
