What is Sanders doing about Puerto Rico which has 60 pledge delegates? We can't phonebank there since 15% of the population speaks English. by 0ggles in SandersForPresident

I picked up tacos for a few Spanish speaking friends and had them over to call pr. These are friends that voted Bernie, but would never otherwise knock on a door or make a call.

First time phone banking with several friends!! Any tips? by XtCmnJHAHC5rR3GBQ44c in SandersForPresident

Setting up takes the most time, so if you have a few computers/tablets, get them ready to go so its pretty painless when your friends arrive. If you haven't phonebanked yourself, make at least 5 calls before your friends get there so you can lead them through it. I had a taco y cerveza night and invited my spanish speaking friends over to call Puerto Rico. It was really fun! None of them had phonebanked before, but they love speaking Spanish and like Bernie. None of them would have attended a regular phonebank, even if I was hosting it, so it was cool to draw in some new people. I'm planning on doing another soon.

It's totally worth it if you can find a babysitter while your husband is in class!

We should make a list with the change of party deadlines in the remaining States for Republicans now that Trump won. by [deleted] in SandersForPresident

It's a unique position where both Hillary and Trump supporters have Bernie as their second choice. Many Hillary supporters would rather have a Dem in the White House than risk Trump being in there. Many Trump supporters would rather Hillary not be on the ballot in November. This is our Venn diagram. This, along with everyone that likes neither Trump nor Hillary, and people that generally don't vote in primaries, is our path forward. The more people learn about Bernie, the more they like him. He remains an underdog, but a convincing case can be made to every single person why he is the best choice.

Me too! After texting with a poll worker in AZ who reported that people kept getting turned away, I thought I should be there.

I need a few Libertarians for Bernie for a special project by samz41 in SandersForPresident

[–]samz41[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that will do! I'm in South Bend and my libertarian challenge is near Culver. Are you able to call him today? It seems like a good time, with the primary a week away. I was able to get 3 official party members and a bunch of other non party libertarians. I picked you from that pool for the Indiana connection. Thanks for your willingness to win a vote for Bernie!

I'm not sure what you're referring to. You have had two posts removed, one because it was an edited call script, and the second, which I just approved, was the leaderboard.
