Great and effective tool!

Comments: The platform is great for small teams and small business, and I love how the work order management system keeps track of what we need to do each day. It's quicker and easier than our old spreadsheet system!

Pros:

MaintainX is good for small teams to use. The software is easy to use and intuitive, has a user friendly interface, and retains an accurate history of all maintenance carried out. The best thing about it? It's on demand!!!

Cons:

Maybe Scheduling in calendar view could be improved...

Comments: I am very happy with MaintainX. The customer suport is very helpful. We are able to add an endless amount of information to our database very easily.

Pros:

The user-friendly interface is very easy to navigate. We are able to use this technology with various age groups of technicians and everyone was able to catch on quickly.

Cons:

Our major issue on the software is not having the ability to auto generate new procedures from within a procedure. For instance, if I have a procedure that says "Is a hot work permit required?", If the answer is "Yes", it would be nice for the software to automatically add that "Hot work procedure" to the work order instead of an admin having to add it. It would also be nice if technicians could add procedures on their own from their tablets.

Comments: We reduce the down time machine for not maked maintenance and failures, and prevents the damage for the machines

The price is to small for the offered featuresits too easy to use , a friendly software easy to learn how to use

only the reports has problems, i think that use too much paper to print, but if you have only a digital management is no problem for that

decent for an entry level program

Comments: Decent program to track work orders and manage assets. Very easy to use. Mobile app is helpful. not impressed with overall features and functionality. Data input way too time consuming.

inability to mass edit in spreadsheet format, worksheets are time consuming and basic. Lack space to input details such as component info for equipment, specs, etc. Lack of many desired features and functionality. mobile app doesnt show all info or allow editing of info when it comes to inventory control etc.

MaintainX review

Comments: Good platform, great support. Still needs some growth, but happy with results so far.

Pros:

Simple and easy to use & learn. Fast turnaround on support.

Cons:

Some capabilities are limited by constraints of the program. Example- cross-category escalation capability, scheduling block, “bad actor” asset tracking Pareto. Some aspects are only attainable through enterprise level.. the cost is higher than what you currently get out of it in my opinion.

Alternatives Considered: Asset Essentials and Infor CRM

Reasons for Choosing MaintainX: Too expensive per license, no super users without enterprise level, complicated layout and difficult to learn quickly.

One of the best!

Pros:

Maintain X is easy to setup and maintain. It is easy to use and train others to use. The app comes in handy.

Cons:

Procedure Library needs better organization

Accounting Nightmare

Comments: They are very slow at answering basic questions, out of country technical support, no phone number to call to get an answer, not the cheapest experience.

Pros:

The ease of creating a work order and sending it to our maintenance team. They are able to review it right away but the same can be used through text.

Cons:

If an employee gives you their time sheet and it says "I worked 80 hours for this payroll cycle" Maintainx has no way of telling you how to allocate those 80 hours. If a work order takes more than 1 payroll cycle to complete, it is added together when running the reports. So for a 2 week payroll cycle where the employee is paid for 80 hours of work, MaintainX says there are 100 hours of work complete. So you end up double entering the labor because MaintainX will not give you the report to allocate the hours worked during the payroll cycle.

MaintainX Review

Pros:

MaintainX allows you to manage the work and labor manager both in the field and in your office with certain procedure libraries. This side is very good and it is a good option that they focus more on the mobile side.

Cons:

It is very good that it creates a specific procedure, but the workflow is not always managed with these precise lines. work time changes, it has a flexible structure. Must be supported by AI.

It is easy to populate and has multiple function that can be customized for use.

Cons:

Reporting functions are a little tricky to use but functional. still getting used to this.

Awesome Product!

Comments: I am a fleet/equipment manager that is still on the road driving. I am way from the office whether it is driving or turning wrenches with my mechanics. I play many roles and have a hard time keeping track of equipment, costs, repairs, purchase orders, vendors, etc. MaintainX help me regain control as a fleet equipment manager.

Pros:

While I don't usually contact customer service unless I have an idea to improve, it is always a quick response. - Work Orders are simple and easy to create - Asset Tracking - Purchase Orders are an awesome addition - Inventory/Parts Tracking is great - Requestors are free and are able to see the work on the work order they prepare The software is clean and simple. It is easy to use and so much you can do with it. I have a lot of favorite features. I like that I can add pictures for the parts, SDS to the chemicals I inventory.

Cons:

This software does what I need it to do. The only con that I have is there are items that need to be improved on. However, if you contact MaintainX, they take you idea into consideration and add the feature. I hope they add the ability to approve purchase orders from the phone.

Easy to use CMMS system

Comments: we have now streamline our work order system with all employees, we now have a database of parts inventory that is tied to each machine and we are able to show cost and time analysis per machine.

Pros:

It is easy for everyone to use, all the requestors had to have was a smartphone and they were able to create a work order

Cons:

it is hard to distinguish between current, scheduled and future work orders in the database. I would also like to see a clear picture of actual downtime of equipment.

Reasons for Switching to MaintainX: whe liked the functionality of the system

A useful and friendly system for better control.

Comments: MaintainX has helped me a lot to have a control of the requirements of my internal clients as well as the follow-up and closing of the Work Orders. Previously, you had a long to-do list and most were forgotten. With this application we begin to work on the activities and we are currently at 98.7% of Orders Completed. Since we have been working with MaintainX, all of our equipment receives Maintenance, increasing its efficiency and reducing downtime. We have reached the efficiency goal more often since we have this system.

Pros:

What I like the most is that it is a friendly system with the necessary characteristics for a Maintenance administration. It works from the web platform so it is not necessary to install software on the computer. I carry it on my phone all the time through the app. It provides important information to take our weekly team meetings and we have Key Performance Indicators of our work to improve. What is not measured is not controlled.

Cons:

This application has been very useful for me to track Work Orders. This information is shown every week to the operators to monitor their activities. I don't think I have something that I don't like.

Improving our department over the years

Comments: Very positive, effective, productive, and user-friendly. This software has completely changed our department.

Pros:

Work order management is by far our most utilized function of MaintainX. We have multiple users interacting with each other all day every day. It has completely streamlined our process.

Cons:

I wish there was an option to send to multiple people in series, in the portal function. It would be ideal for my organization if our requestors could submit a work order, it was then sent to the clinical director who checked approval, and then it was sent me maintenance director, who could then turn it into a work order after seeing that it has the approval of the clinical director.

MaintainX

Comments: Overall, it is a great user friendly program.

Pros:

Easy to use and user friendly. I can add work orders from my computer as well as from my mobile phone. I can look daily at the progress my guys are making and give feedback. I can send messages through this portal as well.

Cons:

My work orders fall off if my guys don't do them daily. Also, when printing reports dates come up when they shouldn't be populated.

Love the App. Use it daily

Comments: Keeping all the information on one platform being able to pull up the information at a moments notice

Pros:

I love that I can keep track of my work orders. I like that employees can put in their request and they get up dates as we update them

Cons:

I don't like how on the computer it doesn't always update all the time.

This is a great product

Comments: I think it's a great product and all the years ive been a mechanic and like i said before i havent used all of them . it's a lot easier to use the Navigator it has not had any glitches and issues like we had but other complete management software I'm very impressed with this product and I'll be strongly recommended

Pros:

Cons:

Only thing I really it takes pictures sometimes as you're doing inventory and doing the procedure of work and I don't like sometimes how you have to modified things in order for the B work correctly even with modifications and I don't like the fact that you can upload videos nothing could be cool if it would integrate like you can add your card on file so that you can keep track of expenses and also track mileage as you started work

Maintain X review

Comments: Very please with Maintain X

Pros:

Ease of use, ability to see reports, able to add procedures, and of course the mobile app.

Cons:

the only complaint i have with it is how often SAP and Maintain X are updated with each other- that may be on our end.

If you’re in maintenance/engineering you need this software.

Comments: Great product for not a lot of money. I recommend this for all resorts, water parks, hotels anything with a maintenance crew.

Pros:

This software is easy to use. If will keep you organized with pms and work orders. You can use it for different locations. Great program!!!

Cons:

Getting set up is always a pain. Putting in all your parts and assets. But it’s worth it.

Would be lost without MaintainX

Comments: I could not be happier with the system MaintainX has helped me build. In fact, MaintainX is helping us spread this powerful tool to all of our sites.

Pros:

Easyto use, fully featured CMMS system. Top notch customer service and support. MaintainX will instantly change how you do things. The file cabinets and binders will be gone for ever and your data will know be at your finger tips.

Cons:

After over 2 years of use I can't find anything not to like.

Not a bad option for the price

Comments: I use it to schedule my techs on service calls

Pros:

Free, helps track time spent on a job, helps bill accurately.

Cons:

Scheduling is a pain as you cant reorder the jobs on a calendar. Cant easily see who is assigned to a job in calendar view. Many of the pro features are not really useful to me, making it hard to justify the upgrade.

Huge amount of functionality

Comments: Huge amount of functionality!! Incredibly useful tool for managing our maintenance and general tasks. Although designed for repairs and maintenance we also use it to assign administrative jobs to members of staff or teams. MaintainX gives us a full overview of what is outstanding, who is working on what and the status of every task!

Pros:

Great features even in the free plan and even better in the premium Very responsive team New features constantly being added Easy to setup and use

Cons:

Mobile OTP as only login method Premium plan not particularly flexible - a middle step between free and premium would be great as it's a large amount of money

MaintainX = Accountability

Comments: Having MaintainX on my phone keeps the plant up and running and allows me to answer to work orders quickly preventing down time.

Pros:

MaintainX makes my job easier and more efficient. Keeping a chemical plant running 24/7 is more productive with the app. Preventative maintenance is important and the app helps greatly with accountability.

Cons:

I can’t come up with any cons. I highly recommend MaintainX!

Very Easy to Use

Comments: A cloud based CMMS software has been a lifesaver. MaintainX has improved communication between shifts and reduced down time. After 1 yr of use, we are now creating predictive maintenance work orders.

Pros:

Has all the necessary features to efficiently schedule a maintenance department without having too many to get confusing. Reporting is great to see a live overview. Implementation took a little time but the interface on the PC makes it a breeze. Customer service was very helpful and gave a 1 on 1 experience. This software was essential in converting from an old paper system.

Cons:

Not much I could say is a con. Be prepared to be computer savvy.

Comments: This being the first maintenance software I've used we are very pleased.

Ease of use and implementation was very easy.

Better notification options would be handy for alerts.
