Ray Winstone
Raymond Andrew "Ray" Winstone (/ˈwɪnstən/; born 19 February 1957) is an English film and television actor. He is mostly known for his "hard man" roles, beginning with his role as Carlin in the 1979 film Scum and Will Scarlet in the television series Robin of Sherwood. He has also become well known as a voice over actor, and has recently branched out into film production. He has appeared in films such as Cold Mountain, Nil By Mouth, King Arthur, The Magic Roundabout, The Departed, Beowulf, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Edge of Darkness and The Sweeney. He played Tubal-cain in Noah (2014).
Early life
Winstone was born in Homerton, Hackney, London. Winstone moved to Enfield when he was seven, and grew up on a council estate just off the A10 road. His father, Raymond J. Winstone (1933-2015), ran a fruit and vegetable business, while his mother, Margaret (née Richardson; 1932-1985), had a job emptying fruit machines. Winstone recalls playing with his friends on bomb sites until "Moors Murderers" Ian Brady and Myra Hindley were arrested for killing three children. Ray joined Brimsdown Primary School and then he was educated at Edmonton County School, which had changed from a grammar school to a comprehensive upon his arrival. He also attended Corona Theatre School. He did not take to school, eventually leaving with a single CSE (Grade 2) in Drama.

This is the 1st episode of the comedy series, Get Back - broadcast in 1992. Get Back was a British sitcom written by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran that ran for two series between 1992 and 1993. It followed the Sweet family, led by father Martin, played by Ray Winstone, a self-made man who lost his money in the recession of the early 1990s and has to downsize, moving back to the council flat he grew up in. It is notable for the early appearance of Kate Winslet, who played one of the family's daughters. The series title, the character names and the titles of each episode were all inspired by Beatles songs. The series starred Ray Winstone, Carol Harrison, Larry Lamb, John Bardon and Kate Winslet. Full 1997 British drama film starring Ray Winstone, directed and written by Gary Oldman. It is one of the grittiest movies I've seen and it broke the record of most uses of the word "fuck" at its time, with 428. It also holds the record for the most uses of the word "cunt", with 82. Nil By Mouth was criticized for it's harsh language and scenes of domestic violence.

Scott Davis interviews Ray Winstone on the red carpet of the UK Premiere of Jawbone, held at the BFI Southbank on the 8th of May, 2017.
The film stars Johnny Harris, Michael Smiley, Ray Winstone and is directed by Thomas Napper.
A brutal, poignant, and authentic movie inspired by the world of amateur boxing, with a lost soul fighting for his life at its bloody beating heart.
A former youth boxing champion, Jimmy McCabe (Johnny Harris), is a man desperately in search of hope, but looking in all the wrong places. When he hits rock bottom he turns to his childhood boxing
club and the only family he has left: gym owner Bill (Ray Winstone) cornerman Eddie (Michael Smiley) and promoter Joe (Ian McShane). In a battle between fear and faith, Jimmy risks his life, as he tries to stand tall and regain his place in the world.
Set to an original soundtrack by legendary songwriter Paul Weller, JAWBONE is the screenwriting debut of Johnny Harris.
Directed by Thomas Napper, and with former World Champion Barry McGuigan and Shane McGuigan as Boxing Consultants JAWBONE brings all the drama of London’s underground boxing scene to the big screen.
JAWBONE will be released in UK cinemas on 12
