However as we see, if we have been watching, the contrast in trending time this video has, vs say, the red hair video. Red hair video lasted under 2 hours if I recall, with rapid and consistent upvotes/views outpacing all other vidme videos, without the category being changed, nor there being multiple varg videos on the trending page. This video is lasting 8+ hours. The circumstantial evidence is overwhelming.

But with everything that is happening in the world right now and the attempted suppression of facts from all angles that do not support the agenda per se, its a valid assumption in my mind to make that my above statement is either fully or partially true. To the same point also, the benefit of the doubt at this point is very hard to give, given everything going on. And I wasnt impressed with their response to someone who asked them about this. None of their responses seemed to fit why videos that were NOT recategorized were disappearing. Styx's videos dont do that... nor do computingforever's.

Don't take my word for it, you can wait for the vidme team to give a statement about this video, but i remember they explain to David that Vidme will now let Political videos get to the hot page because politics can be a tough subject. Anyways, i don't think Vidme is censoring you sir. Censoring means that they won't let you upload at all or not let your followers watch your videos. It's more important that the subscription feed works and that All your followers can watch your videos instead of being in the hot page. Censorship means deleting your videos or hindering your fans from watching your vids. In Youtube sometimes they delete vids and censor the comment section, here in Vidme i don't think they do that. But i understand why you are annoyed by vidme. I hope they talk to you.

I'm leaving my videos here in case anyone wants to see them but I won't upload again or even visit to view videos by others. When I followed you here Varg, just on the second day it had you and Styx take the top 10 trending videos alone leaving all else down the food chain. From the point of view of an admin I too would probably have done something to make sure that exposure was shared a bit more. And I might have missed the target too with my approach.. That said, I too got suspicious when I saw what was going on and tried to look around for a statement of sorts. Either I'm blind or Vidme didn't mention anything about this on their blog, twitter, Reddit etc.. If one wants to run a truly transparent platform that is the nr. 1 cardinal sin!

They deemed it was too polarizing for users who landed on the front page (majority of it was all politics and Vidme wasn't like that before) so they made a separate category for it. Ever since google brought youtube in 2006 They do not care for the small channels as they left us in the dark and leave us nothing but restrictions. Youtube only looks out for the big channels, big corporations and celebrity endorsements, this has now pissing me off since 2009, the only thing that I am mostly furious about, is the fact they knew about the subscribing bug glitch as this has been going on since Spring 2012. I had over 10,000 subscribers and then it went down to over 7,000 subscribers and as I saw their video titled 'Let's talk about subscriptions' they deliberately beat themselves around the bush by telling us such bullshit when all they needed to do is make a view clarifications and be completely honest about the issue of the subscribing glitch, but instead they have proven to be lazy, ...morebone idol, manipulative and untrustworthy to us. Youtube only likes us users when we are on their platform kissing its ass, but I am here to tell you as it is, youtube is a piece of shit website full of corporate bullshit and greed, that's why I'm not returning back to youtube they really disgust me with their lack of inability And since I stopped posting videos completely on YouTube as I Left youtube at new years eve 2016, I just knew at some point to a degree they were messing up again and now karma just bit them on the back side in 2017. Fuck youtube, it is now dead, Vidme all the way.

Maybe you're right but they are growing very fast at the moment so perhaps they made a mistake or there is an innocent explanation. Personally I'm giving them a month before deciding whether this platform is for me. Have you tried messaging the staff for a detailed response?

Ads are probably not going to be an option due to the nature of the content. I assume gab.ai is doing paid subscriptions for precisely this reason. We'll see if it becomes a sustainable business model for them. A decentralized P2P architecture is possible for reduced cost, but there are trade-offs in QoS and privacy, and it's technically more complicated (more paid or volunteer labor).

How come, everyones like "heyy let's move to vidme" and I was like ok, so I changed the entire format of my channel to settle here (which took alot of work and thinking). But now, Vidme is already bad and now everyones moving to minds.com? Im not saying minds.com is bad, Im sure its good, but its just annoying, i dont feel like pulling my channel off vidme and putting it in minds.com. "Say something nice..." when commenting is a bit of a give away (ie. don't speak the TRUTH, or else).
