        • [ – ] StefanJenkins parent reply From what I have just looked at I think you will get verified. IF not then what I would say is make a video or two and then apply straight after these videos have gone Live. I would be very shocked if your not verified then.
  • [ – ] Fractoid_Films reply Very solid notes! Content is king. I would also recommend, for a talking head/interview set up, to use a good lav or a hyper-cardioid microphone for indoor audio. Removes the reverberance produced by on cam and shotgun microphones. And another good tip for lighting is to make the foreground element (The face) much brighter then the background. This generates a solid direction of where peoples focus should be plus it's more pleasing to look at. Cheers and keep on keeping on!

  • Aiya reply I want to add some things too. Yes, you HAVE to get verified to get to hot page because vidme will think that you stole the vid from somewhere else. It's VERY rare to see an unverified channel's vid go in hot page but it happened a couple of times. Example when someone shares a video clip in reddit and it goes Viral. Also it's true and vidme admitted that they will be little sensitive with letting political videos get on hot page (there was some drama before on that) but yea, vidme won't censor your political vids in terms of, they won't prohibit it or hide it from the followers, but they just won't promote it like make it stay in hot page for long or make it a team picks. Good points. Actually i was literally thinking of making a similar video like this on giving tips for new creators (hope you don't mind :P it will be different ofc)

    • Aiya parent reply yup, if you are not verified, it's close to impossible to be in hot page. Don't worry, normally it takes 48hrs until they accept or reject the submission. I'm sure you will get verified. Your channel looks complete.
