You can love the skin you’re in
We’re here to show you how. At Northern Westchester Hospital, our team of board-certified dermatologists offers advanced treatment of conditions that affect the skin, hair and nails.

Multidisciplinary care

Our dermatology department works closely with other specialists within Northern Westchester Hospital including oncologists, cardiologists, endocrinologists, wound care specialists and plastic surgeons to deliver comprehensive care that’s close to home.

Coordinated treatment of vascular issues

Problems like chronic rashes, inflamed skin, discolored nails and wounds that just won't heal might be more than skin deep—they can indicate a congenital condition, disease or injury that impacts your vascular system.

Our team of dermatology specialists has advanced skills and training in both the treatment of superficial vascular issues such as varicose veins, and the identification of issues that require a referral to our vascular surgery department.

Care for cancer patients

We provide skin care for patients who have been diagnosed with skin cancer (melanoma), and malignancies impacting the skin.

Our dermatologists work closely with radiation oncologists, plastic surgeons and pathologists to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes following treatments such as excision, scraping or Mohs micrographic surgery.

Help for hard-to-treat wounds

We work closely with our Wound Care Center to provide comprehensive treatments for patients who have chronic, non-healing wounds caused by diabetes, obesity, immune system deficiencies and post-surgical complications. Our dermatologists use cutting-edge treatments to promote skin healing, minimize scarring and prevent future issues related to wound management.

Our dermatologists make referrals to, and accept referrals from, wound care and hyper-bariatric medicine experts, as well as diabetes specialists.

Improving patient outcomes after plastic surgery

Whether you require plastic surgery to treat a congenital issue, help reduce the signs of aging, or repair damage following an accident or injury, our dermatologists are available to help address issues related to skin health and healing.

We offer comprehensive pre- and post-surgical care for patients of our Plastic Surgery Center at Northern Westchester Hospital. Care includes collaboration with our extensive team of plastic surgeons, rehabilitation specialists, advanced medi-spa treatments and laser center technologists.
