Subscription Box List Update 1

Since I’ve received all my boxes for the month, I decided to do an update to my list – here are my current subscriptions: (referral links)

Subscribed:

  • Birchbox – $10/month… signed up for the annual
  • Ipsy – $10/month
  • PopSugar Must Have Box – $35/month
  • Hammock Pack – $30/month, last month of subscription will be March
  • Goodies Co – $7/month
  • *NEW* Beauty Bar Sample Society – March will be my first box…  $15/month (referral code LUCY1434)
  • *NEW* Fancy Box curated by Pink – normally $39 + shipping per month but there was a code for $25 off and I can’t resist a deal so I signed up just for the month. It came out to $21.
  • *NEW* Bulu Box – Weight Loss box… March will be my first and maybe only box – it’s normally $10/month but I used someone’s referral link and got a free box…
  • *NEW* FabFitFun VIP – new subscription service that looks promising!  Quarterly subscription for $49.99 each quarter – you’re supposed to get $100+ worth per box… You get a full size Moroccan Oil in their inaugural box and that alone is worth the price of the box.  There is a $10 off code (FAB48) but I don’t know if it’s expired.
  • *NEW* Love With Food – $12/month including shipping but I found a deal on Fab.com for a 6 month subscription for  $46.20 (shipping included).  Somehow I had $20 in credits on Fab so it only cost me $26.20 for 6 months!
  • *NEW* PopSugar Must Have Summer Fun Box – Special Edition box for $100 and it ships in May.

Cancelled:

  • Glossybox – $21/month – I skipped February because although the international style theme was promising, I saw some spoilers and didn’t like any of the products.  March’s theme is Spring Fling and the only thing I know is there is Model Co. cheek & lip tint in the box.  I tried to resubscribe on the website but they never charged my card (for a week) so I cancelled it again before they could.  In that week I signed up for FabFitFun VIP, Love With Food and PopSugar Must Have Summer Fun Box so I had to save some money somewhere!
  • Klutchclub Box – $18/month

Trader Joe’s

I was in Los Angeles last week and a friend brought this to a party we were having.  It was so cute I had to get it!!  I made time in my busy schedule to hit up a Trader Joe’s before I came back because there are no Trader Joe’s in Orlando.  It’s a Sugar, Chocolate & Coffee Bean Grinder!!

I love that you can take the top off and refill this.  You can also put more of whatever you want in there to change the flavor too – I would add more coffee beans.  It’s so silly how excited I am over this thing hahaa.  According to the label, you can grind this over cupcakes, coffee, tea, buttered toast, ice cream…  It’s basically like a sprinkle of sugar but this is so cute I couldn’t resist.

PopSugar Must Haves February 2013

I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for the PopSugar Must Have box (referral link) to arrive, since I saw the first spoilers for it…  I wish we could pick up packages at FedEx SmartPost – the Orlando location is 2 minutes from my job and 10 minutes from my home, yet it takes 2 days for the box to get in my mailbox after the package arrives in Orlando.  Just being impatient 🙂

Ipsy February 2013

Ipsy was the first bag I received this month, as usual… I got the tracking email the same day I got the bright pink package in the mail!  I checked the tracking and if I’m reading it right, it looks like the package originated in Orlando?  That’s pretty awesome – I love being local like that.  They accepted the package Saturday and I got it Monday.

On to the contents… the theme of this month is “Red Carpet Ready” but it’s more an ‘eye’ month.  The only thing red is the lining inside the patent leather makeup bag… everything fit in the bag this month.

Cravebox Instant – Pamper Me

I need to stop impulse buying when I see stuff online late at night… I found out about these “instant” boxes Cravebox was offering and I jumped on it because I thought it would sell out like a couple boxes have (not Cravebox) recently. I think I was still bummed about not buying that DailyCandy GlossyBox collaboration as soon as I saw it because it sold out quick. When I saw a Pamper Me box, I bought it without really thinking because I figured a razor costs around $10 anyway and everything else would be a bonus.

I got the box while I was away…
