This place deserves negative stars if such an option were possible. The primary reason is service: it is completely lacking with waiters who are plainly rude and racist. That they have different standards for Indians and dark skinned people and whites was evident from two visits   Since I stayed at the Hotel Alexander around the corner and got to observe their behavior to Whites on more than one occasion as I walked by besides the two visits inside. Bottom line stay clear of this place. There are far better Indian options in Zurich (Tamarind Hill, Haus Hiltl (not really Indian but lots of Indian choices), Restaurant Malabar etc.

I went to this place yesterday and was hugely disappointed. The food is OK, but massively overpriced. I paid 26 CHF for a vegetarian curry (I didn't get a discount for asking to have this dish with veggies only, no tofu), 5 CHF for still water (no tap water available) - but the worst part was definitely the dessert. I ordered mango, without the sticky rice and coconut milk as advertised on the menu for 12 CHF. I was expecting to get a full mango for maybe 2/3 of the price, but I was charged 12 CHF for not even 1/5 of a normal mango. The absolute best meal that we had in Zurich. Not only was the food amazing, but Andy the owner helped me find my new favorite wine, which I curse him for since it is difficult to find in the States.

We started with a chef's complimentary small bite taste of a pasta with meat sauce. Then I ordered the house-made ravioli with oxtail meat - the sauce was to-die-for and the pasta perfectly al dente. I have a feeling the menu changes often, but try to aim for Ravioli or Tagliatelle if possible.

We ended with Tiramisu and Profiteroles. The tiramisu had a different texture than expected but very good; profiteroles were the table favorite! The chocolate sauce lived up to very-high Swiss standards.

Amazing meal, best wine, and amazing conversation with the owner. Love love love!
