Get your hands in the dirt!
From classes and workshops geared to empower you to Do-It-Yourself, to marking time in community at holidays, and spending quality time with family and friends, there’s so much we can do together!
Come to connect. Grow your skills in a garden training, or herb or cooking class. Nourish your spirit with ritual and holiday gatherings. Repair community in food justice workshops.
Shmita
Shmita is an ancient earth-based system for creating justice and resilience, and occurs every 7th year. Explore food access, debt relief, immigration rights, land rights and environmental protection all year long.
Youth + Families
Teens will grow their leadership skills and get hands-on experience doing meaningful food systems work in Ekar’s Food Justice and the Environment Teen Leadership Program.
Workshops
Create regenerative community through learning and workshop experiences that emphasize individual and community skill-building around food, justice and health (and fun!)
Celebrate
We gather to mark the cycles and seasons of the year, to restore and nourish ourselves, and to joyfully celebrate together in a natural environment.
Events at Ekar
