Other Bills that propose to make consequential amendments to DVA’s legislation

DVA's legislation may also be amended as a consequence of changes to legislation sponsored by another Minister. These can be considered either consequential amendments (i.e. the change to DVA’s legislation is as a consequence of other legislation such as a change to the name of a payment made by the other Act) or there may be a minor policy change linked to a broader change in the other legislation (e.g. a change in the education assistance payment paid predominantly to Department of Human Services clients and some DVA clients).
