I like your instructables. They are perfect and I've picked up a lot of great things from you . . just looking over your full list, the rag buckets idea stood out and is something I will literally implement in my own shop.As far as contests, there is a workshop tips and tricks contest running now, which seems to be right in line with the style of all of your past instructables.I'm not sure there's a one-size-fits-all answer to why anyone should publish their stuff. People share instructables for different reasons. My reasoning has shifted over the years.Contests can be fun, and served as a good motivation for me to complete wish-list-type projects because there were deadlines. Some of my projects have seen long-term traffic, presumably from google searches by people looking for info on ...

Ah, okay. Thank you! This has been reported to the engineering team to look into. And Yonatan24, indeed I stand corrected. I didn't realize we could still feature comments here on the community/forum pages, but you are right! Nice catch :)
- seamster commented on xp4xbox's forum topic No option to make comment appear at top and setting promoted items does not work4 weeks agoView Topic »
After digging around for an answer, I found that the ability to feature comments used to be a thing, but does not exist presently.Regarding setting promoted items on your page, that was a bug at the time the new page layout was released. Can you confirm that it still persists for you?

This looks like a neat idea! However, in order to be published and allowed into contests, you will need to replace borrowed images with your own original photos showing how you made an actual, physical object in real life. Do you have photos showing how you made this? If so, please edit and make some changes so we can share your project with the world! :)Please let me know if you make any changes, or if you have any questions.
