Easily the best calendar app in existence. I discovered how changing time zones (traveling) makes for a chaotic experience on the calendar! Even though time zone changes all your events will remain in the original time zone. So if you are making events for a trip, make sure you input them in the time zone you will be going to.

What the heck is this? This update screwed up Calendar beyond recognition. No month view with free/busy indicators, no 7-day week view in portrait phone mode, minimum cell height too large, the "create appointment" button covering information, all existing events automatically having set reminder notifications... this is utter nonsense, folks! Don't let the interns design productivity tools.

Beautiful and responsive, but - 1, unable to snooze reminders. 2, unable to mute sound of notifications. 3, one extra step to create an event. 4, four taps required to delete an event from the calendar. 5, individual reminder settings per calendar is a pain if you have a lot of calendars, in particular if you re given few configuration options.

What it really lacks is the ability to copy an existing event to a different date. Who ever developed this calendar has probably never attended a meeting which ultimately resulted in another meeting at some future noncyclical date. Such a major shortfall. I went to a third party calendar... much more flexibility.

It is unacceptable for this kind of app not to have an alarm reminder type (ringing until the user dismisses the alarm). Even the old Nokia calendar had this feature. Even more annoying is the fact that Android has an Alarm API that can be easily accessed by a developer. So this feature would be just a couple of lines of code. One star because i request this feature for a couple of years!

My lifeline to my work life I've tried Outlook, other calendars, but none are as simple and as efficient as this one. It allows me to make changes as needed while other calendars tell me I'm not able to make change x because of reasons unknown..... Stick with this one.

garbage app! problems sync'ing with hotmail. Sometimes it feels like syncing up calendar with hotmail and other times it simply doesn't even when you force it to do so manually. terrible implementation by google. HTC's calendar app was far better

Newest version is the WORST they've come up with yet for this app. When my update happened on August 16th I lost the ability to change the color of events and am now being forced to use black with white text for all personal entries. Everything looks the same and it's so hard to read, especially with overlapping timed events, which I have often with several children to plan for every day 😡 They also did away with the stickers that you could add to certain events to delineated them in the options within creating an event. You can't change the color of personal entries even in the settings part of the app, only on birthdays and holidays. Poorly done Google.

Great calendar app, except for one thing. I'd l like to see the month view scroll vertically by the week. The outlook is very poor when today is on the last week or two, the way the month display is now.

Why can't we organize our Work Out times as cumulative and manually just in a specific time?Add this feature, for example, I do my workout in 18:00 o'clock everyday, so when I set up my workout, please don't ask if it is morning, evening or afternoon, instead of any time option, we can put a specific time 18:00 o'clock everyday in 1 month, that is it, do that please, I will give 5 stars..

I haven't had much experience with Google Calendar except for the email notifications I get for flights I've already landed for. How can one possibly be reminded for a flight 10 minutes before departure? Makes zero sense.

Sync had not been working correctly on my device for 1 year. It's a pity because I can't synchronise my schedule with my husband's one and my calendar on my pad is not up dated with the one on my phone.

Works, but missing many "no-brainer" features, such as copy/paste event (or duplicate event), and a set busy flag (or not). Also should be able to snooze events.
