Ability to move resources from one resource group to another
In regard to Resource Groups, there is a particular feature I feel is missing: the ability of moving one resource from a resource group to another. Basically, the situation is like this: upon the lauch of the new portal, each of my Azure storage accounts and websites I've been using was added into a single Resource Group. Therefore, website A which was consuming data from a storage account with a similar name (A) ended up into two different Resource Groups: Default-Storage-NorthEurope and Default-Web-NorthEurope. Right now, whenever I navigate to the Resource Groups blade I get lots of generic named resource…

move services between subscriptions
I've noticed that many people want this, an easy way to move not only Virtual Machine but also websites, cloud services, SQL Databases between datacenters / subscriptions. I'm looking forward to this feature.

Do more in place and use the full screen - avoid horizontal scrolling
Simplify the portal by doing more in place. The horizontal scrolling seems to cause too many, unnecessary clicks, which makes the UI to jump around a lot and quickly becomes overwhelming with so much on the screen at once. It's hard to focus on what's most important and, when there's only one blade, half the screen is empty with critical messages all the way on the other side. Make better use of screen real estate and stop moving things around so much. It's distracting. I love the portal, but all the movement gets in the way. Let us focus on…
643 votesThanks for the feedback. We’re working on this. We started with the top bar, then added favorites, and continued by shrinking the list of resources after opening the resource blade. Much more is in the works — all based on your feedback. Keep it coming and, in the meantime, we’ll keep working on this to streamline the experience for you.

Allow for comments or notes on resources
A text description on resources/things would be great for keeping track of what each resource/thing is.

Easy account switching. The way MS account log in/out switching is handled accross all services is really slow and unreliable.
I cant believe I'm the only one with multiple accounts like work and home..

Choose default directory
If you have several azture accounts with admin rights assigned to you, it would be great if you could set a Default account and subscription that is set when logging in.
239 votesWe’ll look into improving how we determine which directory we sign you into in the preview portal. Would always signing you into the last directory you were signed into work? Hopefully we can return you to the last known state without requiring explicit configuration. Would that help?

Open source the portal/blade/tech
Love the new UI. Would also love to use it in my own projects....

List of ALL the subscriptions associated to my User Login.
Currently the portal shows in the "Subscriptions" section only the subscription associated to the Directory (AAD) that is selected by default. I have several subscriptions associated to several directories.
188 votesAAD currently requires a strict directory scoping. We can investigate options if this is a popular request.

One portal for all Microsoft products i.e (azure+office365+intune)
This might be additional feature in the marketplace to connect intune, office365 or any other Microsoft product.

Add Generate Powershell Script options wherever possible in the Azure Management portal
Like in SQL server Management Studio - you can set up what you want to do and then click a Save as Script or Generate Script button to get the SQL that will do the same thing.
In the Azure Portal, it would be awesome at the end of the "New" wizards to have an option to generate the Powershell commands to do the same thing.

Refresh button in each blade
Provide a refresh button/option in each blade.
Scenario i found this need: provisioning a SharePoint farm. In the process of Azure assets creation, when i look at the resource group blade, i need to hit F5 to see the process of different VMs, cloud services etc being created. Not high level priority but can be useful.

Merge Resource Groups
As an azure user I would like the ability to select two or more resource groups in the portal and select merge which would result in all the groups being consolidated into one. One of the selected resource groups would be selected as the "target" group and all other groups would be removed.
This would be a faster version of the delete and consolidate option I've also posted.

Make the portal(s) tabbed browsing friendly
The new portal while shiny and new, and metro, and shiny, can be a bit of a beautiful annoyance at times. My current annoyance is that navigating between two related, but not the same entities is frustrating. In a tabbed browsing approach, this is a single click on the correct tab in my browser. In the new portal, this is a bunch of clicks depending on the level of shared hierarchy. Neither right clicking / middle clicking work to allow me to open a view in a new window. Please consider the target users of this portal (they're going to…
79 votesWe have enabled “Open in new tab” and "open in new window’ in our January update (http://azure.microsoft.com/blog/2015/01/29/announcing-azure-preview-portal-improvements/)
We working now to enable “update url in the
browser as you navigate” soon – this will complete this, as when you open a blade in a new tab you will also have a url that you can bookmark,If you have any comments or feedback or want to learn more, feel free to write me directly to [email protected]
Thanks a lot for your feedback!

Import Azure configurations into Visio
I would like a process to export all the azure configurations and import them into Visio to be able to build accurate architecture diagrams of the environment.
This would allow for a 'point in time' reference for what is the current state.
Expanding on this would be the ability to have templates of diagrams to represent different perspectives of the environment ( network / server details / etc. ).
Through the use of TAGS and Metadata, you could produce the layout of platforms / applications / business aligned systems / etc.Producing these artifacts and versioning over time will show…

Improve Portal Performance
The Azure Portal performance is horribly slow! The blades take too much time to load and keep moving back and forward while loading. Switching from one "Blade Flow" to another take about half a minute of loading time.
I know there is already an issue similar to this in this User Voice, however someone from Microsoft marked the task as Completed. Clearly this is not completed or fixed. Our whole company is adopting Microsoft Azure and this is the number one complaint that I have. I can also help replicate it if need be, but I am sure it is…
73 votesWe continue to invest in performance as a priority for the portal.
We will keep updating our supporters with updates on the same.

Complete the new portal (merge all features from old portal)
Currently, there are some features that can only be managed in the old portal, and some that can only be managed in the new portal.
This is kind of ridiculous; for example, it means that our "new instance setup" for our application, requires administrators to use pieces of both portals in order to get our application working. We have been living with both portals for the last 8 months at least, and there doesn't seem to be any end to this in sight.

Expose Subscription Quotas in Portal
Many times I have had to request for quota increases for my customers. We offer Azure onboard training to our customers and this is one of the very first things I tell the customer to do once they get their subscription to avoid failed deployments. The problem is that there are so many quota limitations but no where to view them. You can assume they are the defaults but what if someone else has made a change. You can see core quotas when submitting an SR in the portal or use PowerShell to see these but you cant see any…

Notification should be dismissed explicitly, not automatically.
Notifications disappear from the list of notification on page refresh it seems. I would prefer dismissing them explicitly.
