The San Francisco Information Center was established in 2002 order to better serve the needs of students, faculty, and institutions of higher education in the western half of the U.S. who are interested in international exchange. The primary goal of the Information Center is to build and strengthen ties between German and North American universities, and to promote study and research in Germany. The Information Center fulfills this by advising students, faculty, and other interested parties on the wide variety of academic opportunities available in Germany, as well as on a broad range of sources of funding, including a number of grants offered by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).Interested parties including students, faculty, and university representatives looking to know more about academic exchange with Germany are invited to drop by the San Francisco office or get in touch via phone or email. : : News : : : : Webinars : : : : DAAD Young Ambassadors : : : : Contact : :
