I am agreeing with anyone here on the usefulness of cb for many purposes. I guess I didn't word it right what I was trying to say about paying for licensing. To add the other programs would be an added cost for google to have them run on chrome, I guess is a better way to put it. Why else would they leave it out if it didn't cost somewhere in the process. The programs didn't change, google changed what it considers useful or not. (to them) I have not heard of adobe creative cloud, and I would love for you to tell me more about that. If there's a way to get adobe to run on cb remotely somehow I will recant any frustrations I have vented here. As far a running out and dropping 1k on a new computer (or so) is not an option at this time as I am disabled and have limited income that I can generate. My friend suggested this cb as a new device for me starting back on the internet after a 6 yr hiatus due to illness. Part of my frustration is not understanding where to go to get the programs I need, or how to find ones that will work on cb. With the router, my machine doesn't even have an ethernet port, so to set up the wifi, it REQUIRES an ethernet cord. (that came from the manufacture's tech support not me I don't care what you say) because it did not work remotely with this cb machine as I have found that MANY things don't run on this machine or they aren't compatible. It was a surprise to me that they would eliminate an important option like an ethernet connection. I wish it was a viable option for me, and it is for most things. I am no expert, obviously, so finding new programs to do simple things is difficult. Yea, I read what you said, just go get another operating system. Okay, I will because I now have to throw good money after bad and get a real computer. This one obviously was a waste for me. What happens if the cloud gets infected with a virus? Then what? I dond't believe that everyone that has one is as happy as you say with it.
