About This Bookstore

The newest bookshop to wear the iconic red Foyles sign over its door opened in Chelmsford in September, not far from the ancestral home of the Foyle family. We're thrilled to be opening our first shop in Essex, where book lovers will be able to enjoy all that's great about our century-old business in our bright, modern new home on Bond Street. We'll have some 15,000 books over two floors, with a cafe serving coffee and cakes to fuel your book-buying.

Christmas Charity Gift Wrapping

This year Foyles Chelmsford are supporting the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) by offering a gift wrapping service to our customers on Saturday the 10th and 17th December. All donations from the gift wrapping service will go towards RNIB's practical and emotional services, to help to help the 2 million blind and partially sighted people in the UK face the future with confidence. So do come by our store and show your support for RNIB this Christmas. For more information about the work that RNIB do, please see their website www.rnib.org.uk.
