Yes. The Group Pass Purchase program will allow you to prepay for multiple registrations at once. Discounts are applied when five (5) or more passes are purchased. There are no discounts offered for four (4) or fewer passes. This offer is only valid when paying by credit card, is nonrefundable, and cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts. If you have attended any of the following US events, your alumni status will be displayed on your badge onsite.
Your email will be cross-referenced with the information we have from the above conferences. Once your status is verified, it will be reflected on your badge onsite.
Provided you are registering for the event, Oracle will provide a statement of attendance to submit with your visa application. You will be required to submit pertinent passport and travel information during registration. Attendees are responsible for completing and submitting the visa application to their local consulate or embassy.

Yes. You can upgrade your experience by adding on Oracle OpenWorld. You will be offered the opportunity to add this additional registration package during registration on the package selection page. This rate of US$100 can only be applied in conjunction with an Oracle OpenWorld full-conference package and cannot be purchased as a standalone item. The Discover pass gives attendees access to conference keynotes, The Exchange (exhibition halls), and Executive Solution sessions. Discover is a standalone package and cannot be combined with Oracle OpenWorld or JavaOne packages.

Your registration will be automatically updated upon your approval as a JavaOne or Oracle OpenWorld speaker. The registration team will refund your registration fee upon your completion of all required tasks within the Speaker Resource Center (SRC). Student registration passes are available at no cost to students taking a minimum of 6 units and who have a current student identification card. This offer applies only to students attending accredited, nonprofit institutions of learning. You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
Students get all of the benefits of a Discover pass, including JavaOne and Oracle OpenWorld keynotes and exhibition halls. Space permitting, students can also attend JavaOne and Oracle OpenWorld technical and Birds-of-a-Feather (BOF) sessions, hands-on labs, and tutorials.

Substitutions must be requested by the original attendee via email. Please include the names of both the original and substitute registrants. All requests for substitutions must be received by no later than 5:00 p.m. PT on September 29, 2017. Substitution requests received after this time will incur a US$100 processing fee.

Yes. Oracle will offer specially prepared meals for attendees with dietary restrictions and we will do our best to fulfill every appeal that diverges from standard special needs (vegetarian, vegan, gluten/dairy-free, etc.). Special meals are available on a first-come, first-served basis and some meals may be limited in quantity. When you arrive in the lunch area onsite make your request known to a server and they will review available dietary options. Please see the Registration or Information desks onsite for further details.

Yes, you will need to wear your badge at all times. Your badge cannot be given to or shared with another attendee or the badge will be confiscated and you will be asked to leave the event.
If you have access to the Oracle Appreciation Event, you will be given a wristband at Materials Pickup onsite that must be worn the event.
If you lose your badge while onsite, visit any of the registration desks for assistance. There will be a US$75 fee to print a replacement badge.
You can book or modify an existing reservation within the Housing section of My Account. Be sure to have your Oracle.com account login details available. Please contact the JavaOne or Oracle OpenWorld help desk for any additional assistance (contact information below). You must be a registered full-conference attendee of JavaOne and/or Oracle OpenWorld to book your stay via My Account.
Discounted room rates will be offered, based on hotel availability, until September 6, 2017. After this date, rates will be determined by the hotel.
Cancellations must be made no less than 72 hours prior to your arrival. Failure to do so will incur a penalty equal to one night's room and tax. If you need to shorten your hotel stay, please do so before September 6, 2017, after this date some hotels may charge you a penalty if you cancel some of the nights from your hotel booking. If you shorten your hotel departure date once you check in, the hotel’s standard early departure fees may apply.
If you do not arrive on your scheduled arrival date, the hotel will cancel your entire reservation and can opt not to reinstate your reservation, even if you arrive the next day. You will also be charged the penalty of one night's room and tax regardless of whether the hotel opts to reinstate your reservation or not.
No. In order to take advantage of the discounted room rates that Oracle is offering, you must be registered for JavaOne and/or Oracle OpenWorld.
Yes, a credit card will need to be entered during the reservation process to make any reservations within the JavaOne and/or Oracle OpenWorld housing block.
Yes, however if the credit card used as a guarantee for your hotel reservation is not in your name, the cardholder must be present at check-in or a faxed credit card authorization form must be set up with the hotel prior to your arrival.
Prior to September 6, 2017, all new reservations and changes must be made through the housing team (contact information below) in order to obtain JavaOne and Oracle OpenWorld discounted rates.
All reservations made within the JavaOne and Oracle OpenWorld housing block will be confirmed via a separate hotel email confirmation. This email will not include the hotel’s confirmation number. If you would like to obtain that number, please contact the hotel directly after you have received our final confirmation email approximately two weeks before the event.

Although hotels do their best to accommodate all special requests, they are not guaranteed.
Attendees who have booked hotel reservations at the government rate through the JavaOne and Oracle OpenWorld housing team must present proper US or Canadian government ID at hotel check-in. It is at the hotel's discretion to change your rate to the standard conference rate should the hotel decide proper identification has not been provided. Please note that only US and Canadian government employees are eligible for the government hotel rate.
Note: the prevailing government per diem for the City of San Francisco is US$267.00 FY17.
No. Only select hotels offer discounted rooms at the government rate. Please enter the hotel booking code GOVRATE17 in the hotel booking code field during the hotel selection process to check availability for discounted rooms at the government rate.
When the rooms at the government rate sell out, you should check availability for rooms at the standard conference rate. Some standard conference rates are lower than the government per diem.

Do not check out of your hotel until we have helped you resolve the issue.
