CNC LightSculpture

From digital to sculpture. This three-step process takes your photo using a green screen with the image sent to the Raspberry Pi controlled CNC router and your portrait cutout added to the collective sculpture. The reveal will be at the Community Keynote. Technology includes: Java Container Cloud, Java EE, Storage / Database, Oracle JET, Apiary, and Developer Cloud Service.

Robots Rule with Cloud Chatbot Robot and Lego Mindstorm

It isn’t C3PO but you can talk to Pepper and ask questions about the conference environment. It can also respond and control nearby sensors via Oracle Cloud Integration. See Java SE Embedded in action with Lego Mindstorm robots shared by the Oracle Developer Community members.

3D Builder Playground

Create your own sculptures and furniture with the 3D printer and help complete the furniture created using Java constructive geometry library. Oracle technology used is Application Container Cloud running Visual IDE and Java SE running JSCG library.
