Science Journal is a tool for doing science with your phone, tablet, or Chromebook supporting Android apps. You can use the sensors in your phone or connect to external sensors to conduct experiments on the world around you.
Organize your ideas into projects, make predictions, take notes and collect data in multiple trials, then annotate and explore your results. It's the lab notebook you always have with you.

I think this can be taken much further. It's currently an app with limited functionality; if you put a team on this app, it can become an extremely useful tool. For example, something like using the camera and machine learning to look at the health of a plant, or tracking the position of the sun in the sky with the camera

The microphone cannot be connected after updated

Can you link multiple devices via live stream so you can stage a tablet and view the stream on a phone?
Ashutosh Kumar
Add support to more sensors like orientation, magnetic field, pitch, roll etc.
Simon Horner
Great way investigate world

It's good app for science students

Fun useful app but can't delete anything. They are greyed out
Cool app! Wished I would have had for science classes in highschool!
Awesome! Great way to test "who's the crazier driver". Bluetooth also gives more options, and I have a Bluetooth OBD reader - I have an idea!
Launched with great potential, then developers have left it exactly that...an app with potential, but no actual use.
It was a great start, but the developers have done pretty much nothing after that.disapppinted as it had such a huge potential
Great for curious minds and thinkers On the surface it appears boring, but it is really fun when you get to know it for a few minutes. Perfect app for curious minds. I would love it even more if you are able to record the XYZ access simultaneously.
This is really fantastic, I've been waiting for an app like this for years. However, as other reviewers have said it really needs access to compass and gyroscope sensors. Everything else is great.
Fun but needs to be updated ASAP It's useless without getting able even split the measurements. Can't sort and filter anything in.
It is the best app for Android mobile This app support all devices I like it and I recommended everyone they have Android phones
A really useful app. Did not know that my Nexus 5 had those sensors.
Why does it need access to my device ID (telephone number) in the latest version? What do you intend to do with that? I'm not willing to update this app.
Experiment around! Wish there were more sensors supported in my phone
it's great but there is not sensor to measure light. plz do something.
I love this app. It is great to tinker around with. It really gets your creative side going.
Basic but useful I like the concept of this app and hope to see it improve. Glad to see barometric pressure has been added! It is missing gyroscope and magnatometer sensor channels however. Plotting more than one channel at a time would also be nice.
Pretty handy Could be interesting if Google could suggest some simple projects we might do, or perhaps link to some websites with such ideas
this is a great app, thanks. i wish we could select units, inches of mercury instead of hPa, etc, and would be more useful if you could choose to chart by time of day.
Cool concept, butt. I was not able to delete any of the projects or data collected after trying it out. Also I think another simple fix is to allow users to calibrate (by zeroing, even gravity). Lastly being able to plot multiple things on the same graph and having velocity and displacement options. I am a physics teacher... and would love this app, if only it had these few minor tweaks!
Support is pretty garbage on G4 Be much nicer if you could use things like Barometer, Proximity Sensor or like anything other than the accelerometric and ambient light on the G4. But the sensors that do work are fast and accurate.
Only uses a few sensors Only uses light sensor, microphone and accelerometer. How about supporting magnetometer, barometer?
Interesting app Nice app . I like it but it lacks other sensors .e.g pulse oximiter..
