please - for a while you allowed to go back to the old format. why are you so insistent in not allowing what so many people want?

Go back to the old layout! Or at least let us set the default view we want displayed!
If you refuse to revert to the old layout, at least provide us the option for creating the view we want to see as the default. Your current default is "summary," which does not provide all the data I want to see at a glance. The added frustration is not being able to get any customer support for your new layout. I need solutions to problems I'm having with your new layout, but I can't find any means to get immediate support. I refer to my portfolios daily, and this new change is horrible!

Bring back the old display! Doesn't anyone at Yahoo read this Feedback? Just terrible!!!
The newly designed display should be trashed! Difficult, at least. . Doesn't anyone from Yahoo read the many negative posts on the Feedback Forum? If you did, you'd see how many users have complaints. Maybe it's time to use a new provider.

New layout is unintelligible. Why change such a successful and useful format? Unfathomable and ridiculous. Another bad Yahoo decision.
Please. Let those who treasure it revert back to the prior format. New layout is unintelligible. Why change such a successful and useful format? Unfathomable and ridiculous. Another bad Yahoo decision.

New finance page format is horrible, & that's a understatement !
The new Finance format is terrible. I think users would appreciate an option to remain with the old format. I know I would. Is there a way to change it back to the old format and leave it there?

Other Site Options
I have not seen much feed back from the folks at Yahoo concerning the various suggestions being made at this site - this does not seem promising. I'm not suggesting you shouldn't post complaints here - please do (I have). Maybe some Yahoo upper manager will visit this site and see that a mistake has been made. Hey, it could happen - Yahoo finance was once a really good site.
Based on the lack of Yahoo feedback, however, you may want to also start looking for another financial site. People have suggested the sites listed below. If you have good…54th ranked -

Why would Verizon buy this miserable company? Finance was the only thing they did well and now that's screwed up.
Give us the old format. What genius on your staff thought this was a good idea? Did you ask the users?

New Finance page is horrible - switch back!!
New Finance page is horrible. Forced me to go to the Canadian page until you polluted that one too. Will not use it anymore.

Stop using a narrow colour tonal range; the optical effect is blinding. Use a larger font.
Your web designer must have failed art school. Any competent artist knows that a higher contrast--wider tonal range--creates legibility. Stop using a white background. It is blinding.
You know when a designer has run out of ideas when s/he starts changing the best features of Yahoo Finance: the original legible colours and design.

What happened to "performance" setting on my Yahoo Portfolios. Very unhappy! No warning!
New Finance Portfolio format is terrible. The "performance" format has been eliminated. No advanced notice was given. Not a good way to keep customer loyalty

You can go to Yahoo Finance Canada to see the classic yahoo finance we knew and loved. I wish someone told me this here long ago!

Purposeful Sabotage
Was this done on purpose becase yahoo is going out of business and so you were paid off by Google to purposely make Yahoo Finance so completely useless and like all the other bad financial websites? I just can't imagine any other reason to completely destroy the brilliance you had before and its been a year now with everyone hating it still and you've done nothing to address this. Its the one thing yahoo had better than all the others. Such a Pity..

Hi
The new yahoo is so ridiculous
I prefer the old one
If not reverted I will use something else
It feels like you went backwards instead of moving forward ugh36th ranked -
Please give an option to use the old version. I find it difficult to find the information I need and now tend to avoid the site.
I particularly miss the old option to compare a company with others in the industry. The comparisons weren't always appropriate but there was a lot of useful information such as number of employees, financial numbers, etc. I also miss the old way of presenting news. Going back a few years, the news used to be very through and simple to access. Now because of all the ads mixed in I don't trust the news. I don't like the complicated way the headlines for the news are written either. Often I can find the important news on google finance and avoid…

The new format is lacking critically needed information.
The layout is awful requiring much more scrolling and hunting. This is basic information that's present on your main competition of Google Finance. The main thing Yahoo got better than Google Finance was the collection and layout of news stories. This new layout ruins that one key difference and literally removes any reason for me to stay using the site. The ad placement and promoted stories really just inject too much of a 'sales pitch' onto the site, and should really be adjusted. Bottom line is that the new layout is extremely bad and should be scrapped as a whole.…
