Being the only restaurant that served fresh hot quality bread during our visit, we were extremely happy from the beginning of the meal to the end. Service was welcoming, greeting us warmly and showing us to a seat.

I ordered a serving of spaghetti with garlic and hot peppers. Although it was quite different from the usual Spaghetti Aglio Olio, the restaurant's twist to the dish was delicious. The spaghetti was topped with bread crumbs, which gave it an extra layer of flavour. It was definitely the best pasta dish I had during my visit to Rome. Although the food was not too quick to arrive, the wait was definitely worth it.
As we finished our meal, we saw that a table next to us had ordered a type of chocolate dessert that was presented beautifully, and we followed along and ordered the same thing, which happened to be a Chocolate Soufflé. When the dessert arrived, the presentation was extremely pleasing to the eye. It was like a mixture between a soufflé and a chocolate lava cake baked to perfection. The dark and rich flavour of the chocolate was complimented by the white chocolate ganache surrounding it. One of the best desserts I've ever had.
Overall, the meal here was extremely delicious. We came back for a second time a few days later, traveling by metro just to come to this restaurant one last time before leaving Rome. I'd highly recommend La Locanda di Piestro to all. It is truly a meal that I will remember.
