I've seen them and I've written them. I kinda work in the enterprise. If you're targetting these users/systems thats even less of a reason to disable selinux.

I guess you're right. I should stop trying to assist/expect my team mates to do the right thing and take it on my own shoulders. I'll aim to do that.

I'm used to other players ultimates doing their own damage. I must remember that its not just the ultimate that is going to do the work, that I need to rely on my other two fires and not my team mates.

What more do you want from an ultimate?

If it can't kill players (and it rarely ever does in comparison to every tanks and DPS ultimates) it is pretty poor offensive or defensively. I feel bad for roadhog who is in the same state at the moment.

It relies on chaining ultimates or friendlies to shoot at the enemy ball. When friendly players hear it, they often run away from the charge. Alternately friendlies have 4 seconds to think, get an ultimate to the ball of players.. doesn't happen.

Locking down that many characters is more than good enough.

Locking down, for a whole 4 seconds.. wow.

If you've played zarya enough, you'd know that its not as useful as other ultimates in defense or offense. But I guess discussion only brings downvotes, I must not disagree with the hive mind.

Tracer can use a Recall to escape, or two quick Blinks.
Reinhardt can use a Charge to escape.
Genji can use a Swift Strike to get out of it.
Reaper can use Wraith Form to escape.
D.va can use her Boosters to escape.
Widowmaker can use her Grappling Hook to escape.
Mercy can use her Guardian Angel ability to fly to an ally to escape out (obviously not to someone IN the graviton)

So, 7/23 characters can escape it, It might also be possible for Sombra with her recall if she has it setup.

The ultimate itself is never useful for zarya players, only for a setup and approximately 1/3 of the current roster can escape it. Not so much of an ultimate really eh Bliz ?

The closest answer I can give to that is that i've seen it pull lucio out to an area where he can fall to his death and the voice animation "lets break it down" happened but the shield never appeared.

I -think- he used it again shortly after on the next spawn, so it never cost him the ultimate.

Maybe I'm a crappy soldier then, Seem to always get hooked on Nepal. I often get dropped over the edge or simply one shot. Its to the point now that I won't play soldier if the enemy team has a hog.

Soldier "feels" fast enough to be up front harassing players, but roadhog simply makes that pointless.

Thankyou for taking the time to explain this to me. That has given me some additional ideas as soldier to evade the hook, (Possible helix jump at the start end of the hook).

I didn't assume it was 100% rosey for all roadhogs, I just never knew there were so many barriers to a successful hook!

What does a 'Bullshit' hook look like to you ? When I played soldier, almost every hook that connected seemed to place me right infront of the road hog for a one shot to the head to end his life.
