My friends and I are just starting a new podcast, and there will be 4 of us. We have 4 microphones, only with slim jack outputs, none are particularly fancy. I just work out the logistics of using 4, and how to record it. Would sharing mics make it easier, but even then, I'd need at least 2 mics going at once.
Has anyone else had to record with several microphones, or know anything about this?
Get a mixer. Something like this. Then you can adjust te levels to each person etc Will be able to accomodate you as you upgrade mics to XLR as well

Hold off on this until you find out if it's right for you. You will need adapters and I have no idea which ones. Depends. Same for interfaves.
