Thank you. She did and she went to office hours with the presentation ready. The professor claimed she missed too many classes but when she said she missed two he admitted he was wrong and that she hadn't missed too many.

I appreciate your advice. Her teacher doesn't even give due dates for homework or give due dates when asked so I think while there may be more to the story, it seems consistent with his character.
