I mean. Maybe the conflict between multiple religions but..
From my perspective, in the mainstream religions, most Gods have "Angels" or "Valkyries" or something similar. Its not like they teach us that we are the only things ever created.
I don't see how religion and alien life cant co-exist and I would like your opinion and views on this further
a big factor would be how similar the aliens look to us. The Christians believe that they were made in God's image and throughout history they don't take kindly to people that don't look like they do.
I'm also assuming that the aliens would have their own belief system which again a lot of religions (mainly Christians) would find as blasphemous.
I don't think all of them would have a problem with it but there would be four main groups
People that think of it in nonreligious terms and just accept that there are aliens and try to cooperate with them and make peace.
People that think of it in nonreligious terms, but are afraid of the aliens and start arming themselves to keep them from conquering the planet
Religious people that view them as angels and the them into their religions
Religious people that view group 3 as blasphemers who have turned their back on the one true god in favor of the false prophets (the aliens).
The new holy war between groups 3 and 4 would be intense.
