Defending the Draft: Cleveland Browns by idgafaboutpopsicles in NFL_Draft

[–]KaptainKickass 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Year one I see no reason why the Browns won't ride Hyde into the ground and then give Chubb some plays to get him acclimated to the NFL speed and Haley playbook. Then when Hyde is gone next season, go full force with Chubb in his sophomore season.

Other than that, great write up. I look forward to the rebuild coming to fruition and I think this season has a good chance of that.

It should be noted that the two sparq scores are calculated differently.

Lots of credit to Enfyte, nothing I did was really too crazy, but I did make pretty graphs and such. I will be happy to help answer any questions.

Call it what you want, it doesn't belong in a sports sub. There's plenty of other avenues. A post in here won't be the tipping point.

I'd agree if hit rates for other positions wasn't much better than it is for QBs in later rounds. Why not replace a 5% chance with a 25% chance?

I hate to be that guy, but isn't this fake? Probably multiple takes blended.

I know which Bosa you mean, but just a reminder that his brother is coming to the NFL in the 2019 draft.

This is why you use wisdom of the crowds, makes it slightly more than useless.

11 of the top Kickers of all time for points were undrafted. Take a look at the hit rate here:

It's awful, and an Oline depth pick is worth much more.

The hit rate is ABYSSMAL. Listing some successes doesn't beat the trend. An Oline pick here for depth has much more value than someone that you can easily sign UDFA and have similar chances of success.

Picking a kicker has no increase in odds of success over UDFAs. Literally it's of no benefit to ever draft a kicker.

Edit: Please state your case instead of just downvoting. Thank you.
