Relapsed in a bad way. by Timid_new_guy in addiction

she deserves so much better than me.

Why don't you let her decide that, since it's her life and her choice? She knows who you are. Obviously she stayed with you for a reason, so don't assume you know what's best for her. She knows what's best for herself.

Concentrate on yourself. Don't worry about what you think your girlfriend deserves. She's staying with you because she sees something in you. Try to look at yourself through her eyes.

You did NOT ruin all your work. Relapses happen, they're a part of addiction, and you just need to learn from them and try to not make the same mistake next time. Think about what made you use, after so long being clean? What feelings, events, emotions happened to lead up to using? Use this as a learning experience of what to avoid in the future. Your hard work is still there. You ruined nothing. Learn from it and don't let it go to waste.

I think they're talking about how they rewire your neural pathways and screw up brain chemistry and pleasure and reward centers. "Brain damage" isn't really the best way to describe it because that makes it sound as though there's actual damage to intelligence and/or brain function.

The apap is going to wreak havoc on your nasal passages, and hydro is a prodrug that needs to be metabolized by the liver anyway. Eat that shit.

Can we not have a pissing contest about the definition of "a lot of drugs?" It's cringe worthy.
