Makom NY offers a wonderful Children’s Moadon / Learner’s Lounge for students in Kindergarten through Teens. Our Moadon helps each child to develop his/her own Jewish identity while learning and ‘doing Jewish’ in a warm and supportive place. We invite all children to come and learn at Makom!
Our Children’s Moadon brings the best of Jewish summer camp, Chabad and home into our learning lounge. The Rabbi, Educator and master teachers work with small groups to bring Jewish learning alive. The children actively engage in all aspects of learning and are eager to return each week. The combination of prayer Hebrew, modern Hebrew, Torah, tefillah, God and history keeps them centered and always questioning. These children have come to us seeking a different model of learning and engagement. If your child needs a different style of learning program, we are eager to discuss with you. Simply email Rabbi Bravo directly and she will happily learn more about you and your child, and together you can see what Makom can offer you. Enrollment is ongoing: it is never too late!
