Tu B'shevat is the monthly observance of the new moon.  Traditionally, this holiday is an opportunity to connect us to the land, while celebrating the fruits of our land. We eat from the 7 biblical species, and some people even gather together for Tu B'shevat Seders.

At Makom NY, Tu B'shevat is observed by joining at our monthly Shabbat Celebration for a festive Tu B'shevat Oneg, by joining the women of Makom for Rosh Chodesh, and by Celebrating through food at our holiday cooking experience.

If you are attending our Tu B'shevat cooking, please complete the form on this page.  We will send you the details before the event..

We encourage all participants in Makom NY events to make a donation in order to help support our programs. Suggested donation for this event is $18 per person or $25 per family, or, for those who are able, to engage at the Shorashim level. Donations may be made by submitting a check to the address below or simply clicking here. We thank you for your generosity in supporting Makom NY events.

Please include the purpose of your payment here.
