To renew, you need to log in to our site first. Visit My Downloads page and you should be able to view all of your JomSocial purchases. Click the 'renew' button on the JomSocial license that you wishes to renew and follow the on-screen's instruction.
To download older versions of JomSocial, visit our previous versions download page. Note that the downloads area is only accessible to active license holders. If your license has expired, you can easily renew it by clicking the orange renew button on your "My Downloads" page.
Yes, simply go to My Downloads and you'll see a drop down there with upgrade options.
Yes, you can install it on as many domains as you want. However, keep in mind, we only support the domain you register with us.
Your license is good for 6 months. During this 6 months period, you get access to our VIP forum support and all the new releases.
No, the download area is only available
for active subscription holders. We advise you to download the last
version of JomSocial before your subscription expires.
Yes, absolutely. JomSocial will continue
to work exactly as usual; however, you will not be able to download new
updates or obtain support without an active subscription.

No, JomSocial does not support any form of Joomla ACL at this point in time. However, ACL is on our roadmap.
Yes, JomSocial's latest version is compatible with both Joomla 2.5 and Joomla 3.

does not have built-in membership/subscription facilities to allow this;
however, our growing list of extension developers have come up with a
number of high quality subscription tools that would meet the most

Yes. JomSocial uses native Joomla User
object and thus existing users will automagically have their own
JomSocial profiles. It will also work with your Joomla template, as
JomSocial is just another extension in Joomla.
JomSocial does not impose any limit on the
number of users you can have in your community; however, please note
that a growing community will always consume more resources over time.
Requirements
No, JomSocial requires Joomla to be installed on your server first; it is built exclusively for Joomla.
Since 07 January 2013, JomSocial 2.8
requires at least Joomla 2.5.6 or Joomla 3.0.2; however, full support
for Joomla 3 is still a work in process and official technical support
for this version is not provided. Support for Joomla 1.5 is only
available in version 2.6 and lower.
No, JomSocial can only run on MySQL/MySQLi databases.
