We were looking to solve a way that we could track progress of projects and activities, as well as tasks and manage a team while being able to show progress and be able to hold people accountable for projects and tasks, to make sure that they're being done within a timely manner and who is responsible for actually doing them. It gave us the ability to manage our own tasks and have tasks assigned to us by other people. So we were able to have a task put in, see the progress, manage it, and then mark it as done. The things I liked least about FunctionFox was that the interface was very outdated and clunky and bulky and hard to use. They hid a lot of the things that were standard under different levels. So accessing different things like projects and retainers and reports were layered below things. I did not like that you weren't able to really track progress. It was more of a begin and done. I did not like the fact that you were not able to tag multiple people on an activity that only one person was able to be assigned to it. So if multiple people were involved, you had to unassign it to someone, then reassign it to the new person and back and forth that way. So it was hard to stay in communication. And the last thing that I did not like was that you were not able to add comments to your actions. So if you had additional details, you had to put it all in the title or communicate separately outside of FunctionFox.
