Don't see myself ever going back to Adobe Acrobat

Comments: It sounds corny, but I now look forward to working with PDF files. The software has worked flawlessly. With it, I get my work done quickly and easily. As I said, for some reason, the work (at least, this part of my work) almost seems fun when using PDF-XChange.

Pros:

Like most folks, I frequently need to view PDF files as this is how most documentation is deployed. On top of that, I also need to print out Microsoft Word documents and combine the files together into user manuals, as well as edit them. This software lets me do all of that and more. Even though PDF software might have the features you need, I want them to be intuitive. It's frustrating to spend a lot of time hunting and searching for what you need. PDF-XChange has done a pretty good job making it easy to accomplish what you set out to do. Finally, I guess that I am a "power-user". I get annoyed when I cannot customize the user interface so that just the tools I want are quickly available. For PDF software, this becomes even more important because I want to be able to easily configure the screen layout for reading different types of documents -- and the navigation tools have to be convenient and intuitive as it seems I'm rarely reading sequentially through the pages like a novel. I'm happy to say that PDF-XChange allowed me to customize the user interface with an extremely high degree of flexibility. It seems to let you configure almost anything - but, I didn't find that it was too difficult to figure out. Overall, I can't speak too highly of their software.

Cons:

I'm struggling to find a fault with the software. Thus far, I haven't found a feature that's disappointed me. Oh, I know one, it would be great if they offered a version for the Mac OS!

Evaluating PDF-Xchange Features

Comments: PDF-XChange is a highly rated and popular PDF management software. It offers a wide range of advanced features including editing, annotating, encrypting and digitally signing PDF documents. The software is considered to be easy to use and efficient for managing documents in PDF format. However, there are areas where the software could be improved, such as integration with other software and workflow automation features.

The most important features of PDF-XChange depend on my needs and goals. Cons:

As mentioned earlier, some areas where PDF-XChange could be improved include integration with other software, real-time collaboration, workflow management, user interface and automation features. However, it is worth noting that the software already offers many advanced PDF management features.I find the user interface of PDF-XChange easy to use,It's important to carefully evaluate your business needs before choosing a PDF management software to ensure it meets your specific needs. However, this integration was easy.

Best for handling massive PDF files

Comments: Basically great experience. It is smart and professional and I don't regret switching.

Pros:

It is always easy to read and edit files on this software. I use it for huge files requiring virtual printing. I can confess that it is the best tool in my list already. The tool is easy to use even for newbies. Annotations is a great feature for me. I find PDF-XChange very appropriate. It is cost effective too.

Cons:

Yet to experience anything negative. It is the best solution for PDF management.

Competent alternative to Adobe Acrobat

Comments: Accessible tools for use in pdf documents, life has been made easy when it comes to productivity capabilities of pdf-xchange. This product was made with the daily pdf document user in mind considering all the features at the user's disposal

Pros:

The ability to extract pages from a document is most impactful in my view and I have found it to be more useful for my use cases. Secondly, PDF-Xchange has a lot of features and tools to work with on a pdf document. Its also easy to use and offers a free version with all the basic tools

Cons:

The UI can be improved. There just isn't an appetizing document viewer despite all the editing tools in the menu

Besy PDF reader and editor

Comments: I am very comfortable to use the reader due to its functionality. I believe it will keep evolving for days to come.

Pros:

I can do every possible thing I may expect from a PDF editor. For instance, I can edit, change, sign, and convert.

Cons:

It is quite expensive. It needs to add some more features like a tick mark, etc.

A very good PDF reader and editor

Comments: I have been using PDF-XChange Editor for years and this software has met my needs well. I started using the free version and, realizing the advantages of the full version, got the license. It is even possible to do some tasks with other free software, which I have come to see, but with PDF-XChange is much faster and practical. It really is software I recommend.

Pros:

- open very fast - open very large files - allow advanced edition, like cut, extract and insert pages

- the changes in the features in the last editions.

pdf Exchange - better than Acrobat?

Comments: I love this software and switched from Acrobat. I found Acrobat had "dumbed down" the interface so much i was continually looking through menus to find a function. Not to mention the outrageous cost of Adobe products in general.

Pros:

It is very powerful and customizable. Improves workflow

Cons:

Some powerful features are hard to find and implement. Also the default setup/ interface didnt suit me but if you go into settings its possible to have it start and operate exactly to your preferences.

PDF-Xchange

Comments: I appreciate having this tool because it always comes in handy when I need to edit my PDFs, it has been nothing but a pleasant experience for me.

Pros:

This software is simple, user-friendly and extremely cost effective which is super convenient for all that it does. I am able to edit PDFs quickly and without any hassles, and that's all I ask for.

Cons:

I have no cons to add about this software, I found it to be quite indispensable, I can't see why any business wouldn't want to try it out at least to see how much of an asset it really is. One thing you should note though, the free version does have a watermark enabled on it.

Read, write, modify pdf with xchange

Comments: My overall experience is good with this service. We are using this on daily basis and it is filling our demand exactly.

Pros:

Watermark, qc check, updated information combination of PDFs, extraction of PDFs

Cons:

I think addition of pdf in a single pdf is that area where company can work properly.

The ability to amend and sign files as this is typically hard to do with PDFs.

There’s nothing to dislike about this at all.

PDF-XChange Editor - Lightweight, full-featured PDF Viewer

Pros:

PDF-XChange Editor has nearly all of the features needed for viewing and commenting on PDF documents in its free version. It runs with much fewer system resource needs than other viewers that I have tried for the same level of features. The focus is on the document content instead of the application.

Cons:

DRM secured documents do not always work in the free version and not sure if they are supported better in the licensed version. Plugins are supported and typically work.

Best Value for Powerful PDF Program

Comments: This is the standard program I encourage others to use. My wife is a teacher, and I've shown her how this can help in her classroom. It's a great, solid program.

Pros:

The price-point is good; it's not stupidly expensive. It's crazy easy to use. It does so many of the regular things we need: add, delete, or rearrange pages; add text, notes, highlights, etc.; add stamps to one or all pages; rotate; convert to JPG; extract text; snip image; pixel calculations...

Cons:

It's not free, but then neither are my services.

Great alternative to other high priced products to manipulate PDF's

Comments: We use PDF-XChange throughout our organization in various departments and rarely have any issues at all. We have never had to call tech support for assistance and users pickup functionality with minimal effort. Product has saved our staff 100's of hours manipulating and organizing PDF documents.

Pros:

The ability to quickly manipulate existing PDF's or simply create a new one from scratch was amazing. We work with thousands of in-house PDF's that are always being modified, therefor ease of use was a major requirement. Did I forgot the mention the price is 1/3 of what some of it's major competitors are charging. A commonly not used gem of a feature is the ability to shared PDF's in a library format so same PDF's are not getting overridden, therefor highly suggest using this feature if in multi users environment.

Cons:

Creating form fields can be a little complex, but to that fact, i have not found any software that does an exceptional job of this other than Adobe Pro's auto create form fields function.

Simply the Greatest of All Time (GOAT) PDF Editor

Comments: It's a great software app - superior to even Kofax Power PDF Advanced v5 (as at April 2023). While I use this app 90% of the time, and 10% use Kofax Power PDF Advanced v5 for automatic creation of Fillable Forms, my goal, and hope is to switch over to this app 100% - hoping the features mentioned in Cons can be addressed.Overall : Simply the GOAT Pdf editor!

It is a very lightweight software app. It consumes fewer system resources, it's fast, responsive and most of all customizable.No other software app out there is customizable as this one - this software lets you customize even the User Interface colors.Merging and re-arranging pages is just a seamless Drag & Drop, and the OCR is extremely accurate.Features such as 'Open file location' and 'Rename file' from the current file tab make navigating back and forth between this app and file explorer seamless.Seamless Copy/Paste with Ctrl + Drag - a feature commonly available in Microsoft products - this makes like easier.User Interface is clean, and all controls and tools are logically placed - for cracking your skull figuring where to find any tool.This app is a

AUTOMATIC PDF FILLABLE FORM:The only shortfall this app has is the inability to automatically detect and create fillable forms.It would be tremendously incredible to open a PDF file, and with a click of a button, have the app automatically create fillable forms, which the user can add/remove/edit later. (this feature is called FormTyper in Kofax PDF Advanced v5).Currently, it's a pain to create a fillable form in a file with 20+ pages because you have to add form components manually - as a result, I have to use Kofax PDF Advanced v5 to automatically create forms using FormTyper, then do the fine-tuning with PDF Xchange Pro to achieve what I need.WATCH FOLDER:The app has Tools as an additional app - which works 100% for additional tasks such as the bulk conversion of files to OCR. However, this feature needs user intervention in that, you have to click a button. The software does not do automatic processing, where you just do the setup, and have it monitor and process all new files added in a specific folder.Also, the source folder for bulk OCR processing has an option where you select subfolders, however, the output folder, the same source folder structure is not maintained - all files from the source folder and subfolders are output into one folder (subfolder-less folder).I hope these cons above will be added in the future

Benefits after benefits. No going back.

Comments: Am stuck into using PDF-XChange. Everything about it is likable and productive. I can't stop using it.

Pros:

If you have experienced delays in PDF handling be it creating, editing, annotating and signing of PDF files, then you have not tried PDF-XChange tool. It handles things professionally and the results is presentable. I have enjoyed documents conversion and printing at hand for the longest time now.

Cons:

Don't look for flaws. PDF-XChange is perfect. Nothing is challenging about it. It is the best solution.

PDF-XChange

Comments: I use PDF-XChange daily. I really enjoy the ease of use and the extensive features that make combining documents and making a professional PDF easy. The bookmarking feature makes finding pages a breeze. I love the ability to stamp documents right inside the software as well. Overall, an excellent program for anyone working with PDF's or documents they need to turn into PDFs.

Pros:

PDF-XChange is a software that I use daily. It is easy to use and makes professional documents. There are extensive features that make using PDF-XChange a one stop program for quick and easy PDF documents. I love being able to combine many documents into one PDF. I can rearrange pages and easily bookmark them. PDF-XChange is a comprehensive and valuable software for anyone working with Word or other programs.

Cons:

The one thing that I would change about PDF-XChange is the ability to edit documents once they are in the software program. You can use the text edit feature, but it is cumbersome and not very intuitive. I would prefer something that is easier to manipulate once you are already immersed in the program.

This is literally one of my favorite programs

Comments: I can quickly and easily fill out forms with the Typewriter function or create text boxes for other scenarios. I have absolutely no desire to ever use Adobe again once I started using it (we use the Plus version). This program goes above and beyond what I need it for and I'm very happy to have it. I've even been able to get a couple more employees to use it here at work and at home. They are very happy with it as well.

Pros:

I love how easy it is to use this program to edit and create PDF's. This program has significantly decreased the amount of time that I have to spend on each document.

Cons:

The think that I like the least about this software is creating stamps. This process can be confusing and very frustrating. Once done, it works great but getting to that point is usually a challenge. I also wish that the optional maintenance fees (after the initial year of ownership) didn't cost as much. It's great that it's an option so you can keep the product up to date but the fees are higher than I'd hoped they would be.

Best pdf reader and annotation tool

Comments: Overall, it is the best pdf tools available in market having many features in single software.

Amazing product! Allows you to edit PDF documents

Comments: This has been revolutionary for my job! My job is to credential providers (get them in-network) with insurance companies. You have to submit paperwork and data for each provider to each insurance company. Because of PDF X-change, I don’t have to print a single page or sort through physical papers at all! I can do all paperwork electronically by editing PDF documents! I can add or delete pages of the PDF, edit original content to the PDF and insert text if completing a form. I can even insert my electronic signature on the documents so printing is never required. This has made my job immensely more efficient and has saved my company from having to buy additional technology like a printer and scanner in order for me to do my job.

Pros:

This is an amazing product! This software allows you to edit PDF files! You can change the document, add pages, make comments, insert pictures and so much more!

Cons:

There isn’t much I don’t like about this product! The only thing I’ve noticed is that once I change a document and if I use the print to PDF X-change option to resave it, then I cannot edit the text and inserts I made to it initially.

Great PDF Viewer and Editor

Comments: Overall I am very happy with PDF-XChange. It definitely makes my job easier than it was before we started using this program.

Pros:

I use PDF-XChange every day. I have tried other PDF software, but this is by far the most user friendly, and effective when it comes to editing or revising PDFs. Primarily I use PDF-XChange to edit printed documents or maps. I like all the options it gives for adding things on-top of a PDF (shapes, text, images, stamps etc.) and the ability to add comments or notes. I like that the program allows you to add on passwords to lock a document for editing, copying or printing.

Cons:

I wish there was a function where you could insert documents in bulk. The function on my PDF-XChange program only allows for the insertion of one document at a time.

Best pdf software

Pros:

I'm using this software for over 10 years. In my opinion, this is the best PDF software bundle you can find in this price range. It's very fast in converting and editing files, integrated in Word, easy to use and the price beats all other similar software . I really like the fact that I can easily edit any PDF file, write inside the PDF files using original fonts, fill forms, which are not fillable by default. All this for the small fraction of price of the similar PDF bundles. To sum up, this is the PDF software of my choice and I'm not going to change it.

Cons:

I couldn't find anything which I don't like in this software until now.
