Great Product, Support Needs Some Work

Pros:

It does what it's supposed to do and it does it well. I have no idea how I would found all of the cookies on my site without it. It really makes GDPR compliance simple.

Cons:

The UX is pretty clunky but not the worst by any means. It did take a couple of tries to figure out where to go and how to correctly save my cookie settings. The support team needs a bit of help though. It took them over a month to respond to my question. To their credit, they did solve the issue that I was having.

Very complete to run a solid Data Privacy programme

Pros:

Perfect to run a Data Privacy programme even in large organizations. It allows you to easily keep track of all different aspects, from data mapping of 3rd party providers to recording assets and processing Subject Access Requests. Colleagues in other Privacy-related teams also use it to track consumers' consent successfully. The interface might look retro, almost basic, but it has all the functions a team needs to ensure accurate recording of processing activities and compliance with GDPR and other Data Privacy Regulations. I also really appreciate the learning section on different countries' regulations and the new features that are being developed such as the integrated redaction feature.

Cons:

It can upload things a bit slowly sometimes. There also seem to be limits to the size and types of attachments you can upload, but nothing major. As already mentioned, the interface could be improved for an easier user experience. These are minor issues, mostly cosmetic, that take nothing away from how useful this programme has been to my team. 10/10, I would recommend to anyone looking to start a centralized Privacy programme.

No support on Github, problems ignored

Pros:

It is working, but I have size issue that need to be solved

Cons:

OneTrust does not answer problems on Github. I got a big size issue with OneTrust on iOS / Flutter, making the app 40 Mo heavier than expected, the question has been unanswered since 1 month, and it seems other questions get ghosted.

Vastly improved our data security process and overall compliance

Comments: Very positive. Customer support helpful.

Pros:

We compared a number of options to procure OneTrust and are glad we made the decision. The tool has a number of pre-programmed processes and control which meant that we were able to quickly adopt best practice without having to spend huge amounts of resource doing this before making a purchase.

Cons:

Our network infrastructure made achieving SSO difficult, we got there in the end however it was a challenge. Sales team were good, ocassionally pushy at times.

A complete compliance management platform

Comments: Using Onetrust has been a good experience. The technical support is ok.

Pros:

Onetrust is a very complete platform for managing risk, compliance, privacy and other important roles inside the company. You can manage cookies, assets, assessments and other features.

Cons:

It is a hard work to integrate Onetrust with other systems and it is also difficult to perform tasks such as cookies scanning and the translations of the tenent is not automatic.

Centralized consent and Preference Management Repository

Comments: We have created a centralized preference management using this tool. Where all customers preferences for mode of communication is stored and also communication opt outs are stored for compliance.

Pros:

Audit Log has self service capability to view and report for audit and compliance teams. Data Portability and access controls. Ability to keep up with changes in privacy laws.

Cons:

Cost is higher when compared to its competitor Possible Now. Vendor license fees is almost double when compared to Possible now

Comments: It's been amazing so far, I'm really satisfied with the platform together with the service .

Pros:

The most I like about OneTrust is how efficient the work has become as soon as we started using it. All manual work is gone and everything done under one hood.

One trust is a cloud tool for GDPF related compliance and its good

Comments: We use it for GDPR and compliance related issues. The breach incidents can be logged on it. Risk management training and audits can be conducted via this. Tasks can be assigned to review for GDPR on it and can be tracked of its progress. Overall its very easy. If it had more features as per companies requirements, it would have been great.

Pros:

Its very simple to use and the dashboard is very simple to understand for new user

Cons:

Does not have many features. It's very simple with very less features. The other tools in the market have more tools for risk and compliance and audit tasks.

Difficult without onboarding support

Pros:

It was okay to cover our data privacy and cookie management needs

Cons:

Implementation was too difficult when we decided to add automated CCPA form and had to switch to another vendor

It's very confuse even with webinars and tutoriais, it seems like a lot of softwares that were merged into one

A useful platform to comply with GDPR and ISO 27001

Pros:

The product can be integrated with Office 365 and it's easily customizable (company logo, authentication, etc.). The Awareness Training capabilities, the Assessment Automation (PIA, DPIA automation) and the Data Mapping functions are very useful. The Data Mapping offers an assessment overview to immediately access the results, the risk levels and residual risk score.

Cons:

Sometimes the online assessments have some minor bugs (especially during the DPIA) and to answer the questionnaire it's better export an Excel file with the matrix.

Great platform to store and communicate GDPR regulations in the company

Pros:

One Trust is a very safe and reliable platform to store and regulate GDPR information.

Cons:

It's a little complicated to use, at first.

OneTrust helps us to be GDPR proof

Comments: Very complete tool to use, takes some time to setup, but ones your there it will do the work for you.

Pros:

The software scans our websites and searches for cookies that are placed on peoples computers, and it provides the visitor with a clear view of what we use to analyze data.

Cons:

You need to setup quite a lot, or you can set up a lot. But in the end its worth it because it also helps you be compliant and user friendly to your website visitors.

Prima en veelgebruikte tool voor cookiebeheer

Comments: Binnen ons bedrijf gebruiken we niet alleen de cookiemanager, ook het doen van bijvoorbeeld DPIA's gebeurt vanuit OneTrust. Ik was altijd alleen maar bekend met de cookiemanager, maar het is een tool met veel mogelijkheden. Daarnaast reageert de support snel op vragen.

Pros:

OneTrust is een fijne tool als je weet hoe het werkt. Een training is dan ook erg belangrijk. Het is een veelgebruikte tool in de markt. Veel externe agencies waar we mee samenwerken, weten er ook mee te werken. Dat zorgt ervoor dat je niet alleen op eigen en interne kennis hoeft te vertrouwen in het gebruik ervan. Verder doet de tool gewoon zijn werk: het helpt om cookies te beheren op de site.

Cons:

Het nadeel vind ik dat het moeilijk is om cookies crossdomain te managen. De tool geeft de value niet door als je naar een ander domein switcht. Daar zijn trucjes voor om dit te beïnvloeden, maar het zou fijner zijn als OneTrust hierbij kon hepen.

Semplifica la gestione dei cookie, consente un’elevata personalizzazione in termini di layout, facilmente integrabile . La Dashboard risulta utile per tenere sotto controllo tutti i touchpoint.

Cons:

Il fatto che lo scan dei cookie avviene solo a sito online e visibile dall’esterno.

Pros:

Après avoir testé plusieurs outils de compliancy, le point fort de Onetrust est qu'il fournit des modèles de politique de confidentialité et de consentement que les entreprises peuvent personnaliser en fonction de leurs besoins spécifiques en matière de données.

Cons:

Onetrust peut être coûteux pour les petites entreprises et les celles qui allouent peu de budget à la mise en conformité de leur collecte data. Il ne garantit pas une conformité totale puisque le setup de l'utilisation dépendra de celle-ci ou non

OneTrust mit Bugs und ohne Lösungsorientierten Kundensupport

Comments: Leider habe ich keinen guten Eindruck von dieser Software oder dem Unternehmen. Alle Mitarbeiter sind stets bemüht aber wirklich vorankommen ist sehr müssig. Es ist teilweise buggy und Lösungsvorschläge kommen nicht immer vom Support sondern aus eigenen Reihen. Es wird auf den nächsten Sprint/Release vertröstet oder auf einen Kollegen verwiesen. Wir haben dieses Tool im Bereich Cookie Präferenz eingesetzt und sind ein Stück weit von One Trust abhängig um gesetzlich korrekt auftreten zu können. Dies ist nicht gewährleistet und ist meiner Meinung nach ein Unding!

Das Prinzip eine URL schnell mit dem Tool verbinden zu können und die gewünschten Einstellungen vorzunehmen.

Cons:

Der Kunden Support, die Einführung in das System, die Wartezeiten auf Lösungsvorschläge

Uiterst geschikte tool voor een cookiebanner op je site

Onetrust is gelinked met onze compliance tool zodat wij makkelijk en snel kunnen schakelen en kunnen voldoen aan de wetgevingen rondom avg/gdpr.

Cons:

Mulit language switch is erg onhandig om in te richten. Om in het systeem te werken heb je wel wat training nodig. Zodra alles staat zijn de aanpassingen eenvoudig in te voeren
