As you might expect, we are busy studying plastics, building new leadership and education programs
and find it difficult to keep up with emails. Below are ways that you can find what you are looking for.
Questions on Plastic Pollution
We encourage you to learn more about what 5 Gyres does. However, we find it hard to answer each individual question we get asked via email and are slow to respond. You can find answers to a lot of your questions right here and in our videos. You can like us on Facebook and sign up for our Newsletter to stay informed about our current research, campaigns and programs.
Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with 5 Gyres. We run a variety of committees to accomplish our work. Please fill out this Volunteer Interest Form so we can learn more about you and determine where to plug you in. Please also consider joining one of our Community Action Campaigns.
Internships
We do not have a formal or paid internship at this time. Please consider volunteering. If your school allows non-paid internships, please send their criteria to info AT 5gyres.org and if time permits we will review it.
Employment at 5 Gyres
Please watch our blog for job postings.
Trawls
We do have trawls for sale at $3500 + shipping costs. They come with protocols for collecting scientific data on marine plastic pollution. Please contact info AT 5gyres.org for availability and delivery dates.
Donations
We greatly appreciate any donations to help us keep our campaigns and programs going. You can donate via credit card on our website or send a check to our office at 3131 Olympic Blvd #302 Santa Monica, CA 90404. You can also support our work by purchasing some 5 Gyres merchandise.
