    See i would say the exact opposite, and thats me as a consumer not a distiller. Which all argues for variety, which is what i want most.

    I have had too many truly bad small-barrel whiskeys to regard them with equanimity. There are some good ones, I will admit, but all too often I have found them flawed. If I saw a 2-year bourbon, I would think young, but probably ok; a 2-year small barrel one, I would avoid.

    Has chastised any other distillers for sending alcohol to AL, MI, UT, and KY? These are legitimate shipments, usually samples to writers or charity donations. Any suggestions?

    Just a heads up are closed all day for a private event. We'll reopen as regularly scheduled tomorrow and tours are still on at the Paymaster (main building). Store is open there until 6pm.
