Mira RR update

Here’s what I just finished stitching for Debbie’s RR:

My first time using whisper thread, which was interesting.  I did backstitch skin in 1 strand instead of the 2 that was called for, because I thought it looked better.  And I substituted similar variegated threads for the Caron Waterlilies because I didn’t see the sense in buying a $4 skein for just a couple of stitches.

Really love the boxes Debbie used to outline in this piece, very dainty looking and pretty.

Finished stitching on Jacqui’s Round Robin piece this weekend.  Hope to get Debbie’s piece finished this week, then back to Forest Goddess!  That poor girl is having to wait a long time to get done.  🙂

I know, I’ve been pretty quiet on here lately.  Been working a lot and stitching less.  Still, I am managing to get bits done here and there.  Seems like my free stitching time gets devoted to my RRs any more.  Here a Mira piece I just finished tonight, this is for Julia’s piece in the RR.

Will stitch a bit more on Forest Goddess this weekend, wish me luck!
