Santa brought me a date for Christmas. A man I met at the solstice party asked me to have dinner with him tonight. This could turn into an awkward situation given the man is a house guest from Houston staying with my new next-door neighbors. Why didn’t Santa bring me a job offer?

A man messaged me online. He said he liked my profile. I told him we met before. He asked if I wanted to me again. I declined the invitation. Clearly, I didn’t leave a memorable impression if he didn’t remember meeting. I remembered him. It was not a fond memory.

It’s been a couple of weeks since I hit the galleries on Friday night. Paddy and I are headed out tonight. We’ll probably rendezvous with Perry and Patricia at some point.

I’m looking forward to the new show at the Center for Visual Art. Colorado Women in Abstraction opens tonight bringing into focus the accomplished artwork of 32 women in Colorado. This show is running in conjunction with the immensely popular Women of Abstract Expressionism, currently on display at the Denver Art Museum, which recently received a great review in Time magazine.

I think it’s going to be a fun night.

It seems like the building in Denver will never stop. There are new buildings going up everywhere. Most of the new buildings have no redeeming architectural value. They are ugly boxes whose sole purpose is to maximize the developer’s profits. Here’s an interesting article from Denver’s Westword magazine:
