As they wrap up for the night, Cultivate says their final customer tally for the day is "over a thousand," with the most popular selling items being their Chocolate OG flower and their edible gummy cubes.

The store is urging people to come back tomorrow, but it's worth noting that they'll be open at 10 a.m. (not 8 a.m. like today) and that 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. will be their normal operating hours going forward. Closed for Thanksgiving and other major holidays though.

Cultivate says their "supply is still strong," but this is more a matter of making sure everyone who waits in line can get into the store and has time to make a selection before they close.

It’s probably perforated in 5 mg or less squares. Retailers can sell up to 100 mg per package, but servings can be no more than 5

The situation is about the same here at Cultivate. The people just now getting in the door say they got here around 8:30 a.m.

An employee tells me that the reason has to do with the 5 mg limits for individual edible servings on the retail market. Most of the above baked goods have several times more that dosage.

With the exception of the gummy cubes, Cultivate’s edibles are currently only available for medical cardholders.

Barber also stresses the safety element: “This is new for the state. People need to be aware that you can’t drive under the influence of this, same as alcohol. And if it’s your first time using, start low, go slow.”
