I would welcome $50bn of real investment in Palestine, however I could see any actual commitments here - just "breakout ventures" in a glossy brochure; I didn't see any suggestion that Israel would leave the West Bank or stop the blockade of Gaza either. whitehouse.gov/wp-content/upl…

There are instances of violence by a few Palestinians towards Israel (such as the "burning kites" that hit fields of crops) however the UN has found the response of Israel, and the loss of civilian Palestinian life to be disproportionate.
