I don’t have it

Me parecen graciosos.

Here is a drawing attempt for men drawing. I think they look half silly, half suspicious. The first one has lost something, the one second thinks or is not quite sure he has forgotten something, and the third one says: “I don’t have it”. If drawing women was difficult to me, I could say drawing men was much fun. This is a digital illustration I did for Norma Editorial. It seems I have abandoned you and my blog, but is that I just started to illustrate my second Unit for educational books. Hope you enjoy these guys. Thanks for coming back! See you in a week or so.

Pothooks about hope

Hecho a lapiz. (abajo)

“Tears that are a seed of hope to our planet.”

These are doodles (ink and pencil) I usually make when speaking on the phone or before going to bed. Anytime is good to express feelings, to draw something. Specially take the advantages of the inspiration or when the muse arrive. I couldn’t resist to colored digitally the birdie above (if we can call it bird ;-). I named it “Leafy-twitt”.

The drawing above express our worries concerning our planet. Her tears feeds the hope to make the seed grows.

SIDE NOTE (but not less important):

As we all know our planet is experiencing dramatical climate changes, one day is hot, the other day is not. The poles are melting, there are more endangered animals. There are more buildings in our countries, pollution is contaminating, and there are less trees. Our atmosphere is getting so dense that we barely see a blue sky these days. A little contribution, a little action can make huge impact and help our planet to be more greener and fresh. For this reason I am inviting to you all to be part of the TREE-NATION. Please, visit their site for more information, to see how many trees are already planted, what is their mission & how does it work. Joining is free. I already invited many friends…let’s keep spreading the word. *FOR OUR PLANET* Is the least we can do plus you will get a nice feeling inside, I guarantee you. I will buy a tree in the near future, this if I don’t get a free tree before! ¡ñaca-ñaca!^_^

And remember :”You must be the change you wish to see in the world” ~Gandhi

*SPREAD THE WORD

UPDATED: I just gained an Acacia tree thanks to you!! Mine is here.

Spirit from Nature

She is a Nymph ready to swim and to make her debut at the river. This is a rough sketch I am sharing. Maybe this has happened to some of you. Once in a while it is very important to go back to basics, to the artistic nature. Specially if you do constant digital illustrations. I like to do drawings for myself, since it takes me down to my roots. Drawings like these are like your signature, they come out just right from your inner soul. I am also finishing a custom watercolor work. It is a whimsical painting, and it is kind of big. I hope my scanner does it good, so I can show it here.

Ok, now back to work with the school textbooks again. Kiss*

P.S. If you would like to take a look at a cute logo I did few months ago visit the blog of my adorable friend Christy (aka Sew Fussy and Fussybutt). She does cloth diapers with sweet designs. She digitalizes the designs and make embroideries on them.Lovely!

I am still working with the drawings for school textbooks. I’ve been experiencing some interesting discoveries about my drawings. I am not used to draw adults but it is good, since it push me to work on them. It’s been a great experience so far. Above I am sharing with you some drawings from the educational book. Girls chat, and boys do too. Enjoy!
