Pedagogy of Partnership
Pedagogy of Partnership is a comprehensive Jewish educational model that trains educators to bring Torah to the next generation. By reinvigorating the power of havruta (learning in pairs), PoP-trained teachers empower learners to build habits of wonder, empathy and responsibility. Powered by the Hadar Institute, PoP offers an extensive menu of trainings and resources for Jewish educators, schools, and families.
PoP's innovative approach is guided by the core belief that how we learn is as important as what we learn. As learners become more adept at studying with one another, the text becomes their essential third partner. Students discover a rich and joyful process of learning Torah; respectfully challenging and supporting ideas while building relationships with peers, text and tradition.
PoP was founded by distinguished educators and thought leaders Dr.Orit Kent and Allison Cook to ensure that students of all ages can learn texts throughout their lives, in school and beyond.
