בואו להכיר את הסיפור המרתק של משפחות יקותיאלי-ביצ'אצ'ו, מסע מרתק בין תרבויות ויבשות. בהרצאה אשתף ממצאים ייחודיים, סיפורים אישיים ומסמכים היסטוריים נדירים שנאספו במשך שנים של מחקר. נלמד על כוחה של משפחה יהודית אחת לשמר את מורשתה לאורך דורות, תוך התמודדות עם אתגרי ההגירה והשינויים. ההרצאה תעניק כלים מעשיים לחוקרי שורשים המתעניינים במחקר משפחתי חוצה יבשות

על המרצה:

סמי יקותיאלי, חוקר מוביל בתחום הגנאלוגיה היהודית, פרסם שני ספרים והעביר הרצאות רבות בנושא. מחקרו המרתק עוקב אחר סיפורן המופלא של משפחות יקותיאלי וביצ'אצ'ו, ממסעותיהן בפרס ואיסטנבול ועד להתיישבותן בישראל ובוונצואלה.

Tracing the Yecutieli-Biçaço Family Heritage Across Continents: From Iran and Turkey to Venezuela and Israel

Presented‭ (‬in English) ‬by Samy Yecutieli

This lecture dives into the Yecutieli-Biçaço family legacy, tracing my Jewish roots across continents—from Persia and Istanbul to Venezuela and Israel. Through unique archival findings, firsthand interviews and compelling family narratives, I’ll showcase resilience, migration and cultural preservation, offering genealogical methods and insights tailored for genealogists seeking to deepen their understanding of cross-continental Jewish heritage

The lecturer

Samy Yecutieli is an expert in Jewish genealogy with two published books and multiple lectures on the topic. His research on the Yecutieli and Biçaço families captures resilience from Persia and Istanbul to Israel and Venezuela.
