About Cliff Kurt
Cliff Kurt is a 40-something professional, living in Martinsburg, West Virginia. He serves as Executive Director of the Washington County Community Mediation Center in Hagerstown, Maryland. This work follows a nearly 23-year career with the Better Business Bureau.
Cliff counts himself lucky for having the nurturing care of his dear and wonderful Shelley, to whom he wed on a gloriously beautiful early Autumn day in 2009.
When not busy helping people resolve conflict, Cliff likes to spend his time on stage. His fondest acting moments occur at the misspelled Apollo Civic Theatre in Martinsburg. You also might find Cliff playing the piano or reading.
Cliff is also hard at work trying to make a go as a free-lance writer. He is a published short-story author, and is an award-winning playwright. Cliff’s has worked as a stringer reporter for the Martinsburg Journal News, for which he currently blogs. If you are an agent or publisher, Cliff will walk your dog, wash your car, feed your mice or do anything within reason – well, okay, anything – if you can help him get his writing career off the ground.
