Inside Sales Representative

In this newly created position, Big Think is seeking Inside Sales Representatives to work in partnership with the sales team to identify and source prospective clients in the Fortune 1000 and Mid-Market through email campaigns and cold-calling.
The role presents high exposure to professionals and senior executives in the US. Individuals in the Associate position will gain broad exposure to a variety of C-level constituencies, functions, fundamental business concepts, and to leading-edge business practices in areas such as employee engagement, manager development, performance management, customer service and others.

What you’ll be doing:
- Schedule sales and client commercial activities for the Client Sales team – 65%
- Includes prospecting and lead generation to fuel call/visit outcome
- Institutional tracking – 15%
- Track institutional/industry trends, executive changes within member/prospect portfolio
- Information management – 20%
- Develop efficient flow of information between Solution & Service teams and the Client Sales team
- Update CRM system to capture critical information for relationship management
About you:
- Goal and action orientated, with ability and desire to work towards activity and revenue targets within a meritocratic environment.
- High level of comfort with cold calling and determination when following-up with both prospects and clients (i.e., comfort with and persistence when overcoming client and prospect objections)
- Passionate about what drives human performance at work
- Forward thinking and solutions orientated approach at all times
- High level of tenacity and creativity
- Persistence, drive, and ability to work proactively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to engage an audience
- A team player and team spirited
- Sales or Account Management experience (desirable)
- Excellent academic credentials, a minimum 3.3 GPA
