this is great, i've stretched a few hats with steam and a mellon in the past, but i bet this works WAY better

monday this will get resolved first thing.

we cache these pdf's upon first request after publish action to save ourselves the work of re-making the pdf every time a user chooses to download it. I went ahead and cleared the cache on this one listed here. then re-requested it and made sure it was same as i saw in your most recent version of the instructableshould be good to go now.

I would love to see a car repair or enhancement contest. Not a lot of vehicle repair or car modification instructables. maybe even just a "how to maintain a vehicle" contest? basic maintenance can keep a car/bike running long past it's prime

you didn't have any class progress, so it wasn't showing up even though you enrolled. i went ahead and made some progress for you (read thru the first lesson to the comments) so it would show up in all the right places for you. it now shows up on your member page as expected.

we cannot support legacy clients while being PCI compliant. Try using a newer OS like windows 10

do you get any errors in the console of your browser? i'm unable to reproduce your issue in firefox or otherwise.

the /contest page no longer has dividers for open/judging/closed contests.the closed contests that have winners selected are found on the contest archive page linked at the bottom https://www.instructables.com/contest/archive/and contests that are in judging stage are listed as "0 days left to enter" on the /contest page still.

as a logged in user you will notice an ad free experience on our site. And in regards to some of the ads being flash based, it's our ad provider that fills the adspots with relevant content for the user on our site, not all of them are flash based, i'd say the easiest fix here is just to login as you browse the site, ads are removed everywhere for all logged in users.

hello! sorry to hear your having troubles with seeing who are your followers here on instructables.comthe best place to see what you follow is the /feed page. and on that page, we have a link at the top to "customize" your feed, this page will show you everything you follow, and at the bottom of that page, you will find a listing of all the authors you follow.does that help?

this has been observed as a connectivity issue on the client side. i have to throttle my browser down to nearly dialup speeds to reproduce. and we don't have an easy fix to deploy. I suggest if your experiencing this regularly to let the page cully finish loading before you start to browser the page, even scrolling. the class pages are rich with large format images, and this can really wreck havock if it's trying to load all the images for you while still loading things like the page session to know if your a logged in user etc.

hello, and sorry to hear your having trouble with our download PDF feature.while we are transitioning to the new format pdf generation, there is a wrinkle with how some browsers are downloading the files. For the time being, you can append a ".pdf" extension to the file that downloads without an extension to get a functional pdf. Soon this will not be necessary in any browser as we are working to replace ones that are able to download like you are seeing, with the new ones that will download with proper extensions in all browsers, all the time.

can confirm, this is just like the "cuban crack" sold just west of Miami, FLand it was the best cup of espresso I've ever had as an American having never visited the south of France

i think logging out and then logging back in will properly set the pro status on your account for page activities like downloading pdf's

also worth mentioning that alcohol is a low grade poison, and people still growing (under age 21) have more long term damage from the effects.

this is a yet to be released feature. this is in place as a proof of concept/test for the intended users. there is not yet a user facing experience to be had here

I do reproduce your error, but after a page refresh on each page this happened to me on, i got a valid session and was able to see my you menu in the header, and all other login specific information on the page. will keep looking but in the meanwhile, try refreshing the page if it's broken like you describe.

Always with making the neat stuff! used to dream of making one of these when i was a kid, but never knew the science to execute. Hopefully some other kid in the next generation doesn't have to dream anymore...thank the internet for all it offers us.

the classes will not show up until you have made progress in a lesson.for example, www.instructables.com/member/KiranV2/classes/ as of currently has one class showing, and it is a class that is marked IN_PROGRESS, while the rest of the 10 classes have no progress in them, and are therefore not shown to hide the zero values here on this page
