Max Blumenthal threatened to sue SPLC for publishing ’ piece, which featured unflattering facts about him. SPLC took down the piece, but it is archived here: Max hates it when people publish inconvenient facts about him, so I shall do so here:

GG is obsessed with the real and imagined sin of Jews: GG’s “look at all these bad Jews" timeline is like Breitbart’s “black crime” tag

You cherry-picked the polls there since when Americans were specifically asked about Obama’s policy toward Israel, 45% said he was striking the right balance and 22% said he favored the Palestinians too much. When asked about US policy wrt Israel, Americans think it’s fine!

If I had a bunch of POC tell me something was racist, I would listen...not argue. Hope people would listen if a bunch of LGBT folks said something was homophobic/transphobic. Too many people (in every party) don’t take time to listen when Jews saying something is anti-Semitic

Trump criticizing Ilhan Omar for using an antisemitic trope about Jewish money is the pot calling the kettle black. Trump addressing in 2015: "You’re not going to support me b/c I don’t want your money...You want to control your own politicians"

People on the left usually understand that you don’t use racist tropes when talking about African-Americans The hard-left doesn’t accord Jews the same consideration And facts can be presented in a racist fashion: eg the “black crime” tag on Breitbart could catalog true stories

These private conversations were surreptitiously recorded by a pro-Palestinian activist posing as a Jewish pro-Israel activist, who asked leading questions to elicit these ridiculous remarks, which don’t even make sense:

And yes, the piece makes clear this is about *Jewish* money: These are arguments no one on the left would make about black people. People on the left don’t ask why white people can’t call black people “n***a” even though black folks do in private conversations

The Intercept has gone all out to defend ’s tweets, using the surreptitiously recorded (in a James O’Keefe style op) private conversations of Jewish lobbyists boasting about their influence to implicitly ask why can’t non-Jews criticize Jewish money:

I’ve now determined that the thread Ilhan quoted is a lie. The candidate in question raised over $1M in campaign contribution. The $5,000 from a pro-Israel donor did not make or break the campaign. She easily could have rejected it:

Here’s the data on the campaign you worked on - Victoria Wulsin. She raised over $1 million in campaign contributions. A $5,000 campaign contribution from a pro-Israel donor did not make or break her campaign. This thread is a LIE

Apologizing for saying that the GOP supports Israel b/c of AIPAC money & then favorably quote-tweeting a thread arguing, “Actually, was right about AIPAC” is not a good look. And the thread’s claims are false b/c AIPAC doesn’t make campaign contributions. It’s NOT a PAC
